My husband thoroughly enjoyed his rabbit with apricots, and I loved my pike perch with pike dumpling, small vegetables strips with ginger and fresh coriander which was beautifully presented. As if Colmar doesn't already look like a cute town ready for Christmas, having chestnut mousse would make it feel even more festive.

I figured if we get there right when dinner service starts at 7, then we should be able to get a table, but I was so wrong. They were already fully booked for the rest of the night, and closed for the next two days. I was so disappointed thinking that I won't be and to try it based on all the reviews. Since we were staying around the corner from there. I asked the guy if I can get take out. He did me a favor and was able to accommodate that. I saw a "take away available" sign hidden when I was waiting for my order, so I am pretty sure that they weren't taking take out orders either. We took it back to our Airbnb, and it was so yummy.
