They also have baby signing classes (Wednesday afternoons), a session with a speech therapist (Wednesday mornings) and my personal favourite, a "Time For Me" session every Friday afternoons where the staff run a creche while mums do their own thing in a separate room - be it watch a film or do arts and crafts. And the best bit? Each session only costs £1 per family! The Time For Me costs £1.50.

There are three 'rooms a baby room, a toddler room and the school room which accepts the government funded vouchers. Parents provide all the children's food as there is no kitchen on site but this means you can ensure that they get and eat what they like. There is only a small outside space but it is fully utilised and Dartmoor is only a few 100 meters away, perfect for muddy walks!

There is a large stage situated at one end and the staff there are excellent. This is a well established playgroup and a must for the local community. I went there myself over 30 years ago! Refreshements are provided for the little ones and its healthy snacks all the way. The staff are all trained and you can ask to see their qualifications at any time. My liitle one loves it there as there is always something going on, themes run all the time, weather, seasons and the like. They run 5 days a week and you have a choice of sessions. Its like a little coffee morning for all the children!
