a bowl of ribs and sauce

Yes yes and yes!!! I have been searching high and low for good Chinese food that's close to New York style and even though it's not exact it's pretty close and that's a win for me. The ordering online was fast and easy as I did it while finishing my work day. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and spare ribs. The place was nice and clean and staff was friendly. The food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely be back to try different dishes.

I've slept on this restaurant for FAR too long, I'm glad enough of my neighbors on Nextdoor recommended this restaurant to me to finally convince me. I guess I just thought the food didn't photograph well but really it looked much better in person than i see in photos. Not I eat food just for photos, but just saying I didn't think it did it Justice after the great experience I had! First off the staff, I didn't get the lady's name that helped me once I got there but she was one of the friendliest restaurant staff I've met, and I've never met her before. I had both my boys with me (young) so I went in to pay and asked if I can pull my car out front so I can then just grab the food. She walked us to my car, and was extremely courteous and cautious with trying to keep my older one from running into traffic (which he wasn't) while I put the other in the car. That sense of humanity just unfortunately became something I never expect from strangers and she just lifted my spirits in a really nice way. The restaurant was a tad smaller inside than I expected but I liked their decoration, their front doors are awesome looking, and overall the restaurant, despite being in a strip center, feels like an authentic individual place instead of the "cubicle" type feel you usually get from strip center restaurants. The place smelled great, it was empty since I picked up food just before 5 PM (again, young kids), and when I tell you the food was piping hot, its an understatement. They packed the containers in a cardboard box to keep it from spilling, and even after I got home the containers were still too hot to the touch to hold. I had to spread the food out on a plate to be able to handle cutting it smaller for the kiddos! I say all this to say that taking it to go it was still very fresh and tasty once we got it home. Anyhoo the food itself, I ordered some "classic" things we try at many Chinese restaurants and we were impressed with all of it. The kiddos loved the lo mein noodles (of course!), all of it was fresh, nice texture, and I enjoyed the flavor of each of the components, much more so together. The General Tso's and Orange chicken looked similar in the containers but the tastes were very different. I got them not spicy for the kids but I would have loved to see how much heat they put in these dishes since its a Szechuan type restaurant. We tasted the heat in the mixed veggies and it was really nice, it packed a punch but not so much it was inedible, just enough to help keep you hydrated! The veggies tasted fresh, not overcooked, nor over sauced. The dumplings were gorgeous, I really enjoyed them, my wife thinks they were a little shy on the flavor, but I enjoyed the texture, especially with the crystal noodles inside! I got distracted by the kids about 4 times while writing this, I hope it makes sense. Overall the food was great, I enjoyed everything we got, look forward to trying it again, new items next time, and I will definitely be coming here often in the future!

Sesame chicken

First time visiting the restaurant but I've ordered here many times and it never disappoints. The fried rice is chefs kiss. Best vegetable fried rice I've ver had. Sesame chicken is my all time favorite. They are very generous with the portions and the service is immaculate, they are so attentive even right before closing

Ordered chicken chow mein online, only options it gives is for rice (which is required). Figured that would be on the side in addition to the noodles. So now I get soggy chicken and rice! Atleast the general tso's chicken is good!

Overall: I wouldn't bother eating here. I decided to check this place out since a lot of people order it from my job. Worst mistake this week I ordered the mixed vegetables with steamed rice (even though my gut told me to get steamed veggies) and the sauce that was sautéed with the vegetables was unappealing.. the rice was basic. I also got the chicken and shrimp with cashew nuts and fried rice. My boyfriend said it was decent, I thought it was below standard. The meals came with a choice of soup we got wonton soup, which was ok. Also came with choice of egg roll or cheese puff. We chose cheese puffs. That was the best thing to me... the cheese puffs. In addition all the "sauce" spilled from the vegetables into the bag, not fun. So sad because I was hungggrrryyyy.

I've been coming here for 40+ years. I used to come here about once a month until a place came along that has my kind of General Tso's Chicken. They have very good Chinese food, but my favorite is General Tso's Chicken and the way theirs is prepared doesn't appeal to me. I always get the hot shredded pork here, which is excellent. They've begun to suffer because a giant CVS drug store was built directly in front of them, blocking view from the street. So as time passes people forget they're there. Also it has stripped the parking from immediately in front, so you have to park a little distance away. This is all too bad because they're probably the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Oh yes, other than Jack-in-the-Box, they have the best egg rolls in the area -- probably because they're crisp, but why-ever they're good. ___ We've Eaten Out Every Meal for 30 years

After countless times coming, I've been meaning to make a review about this place. Everything in…read moretheir menu is something great, with some of my personal favorites being the Homestyle Trio with Eggplant, their Mapo Tofu (off menu, no gatekeeping), their Spicy Chicken Noodle Soup (a wee too spicy for me personally, but I love the simplicity of it), and the General Tso's Chicken. The eggplant dish mentioned is very rich and flavorful, with the eggplant cooked to be soft and almost mushy (but in a good way), nicely complimented by particularly the beef. Their lo mein is a little watery on various occasions, but still maintains a great and very nice flavor. Their fried rice is one of my favorites in the area and is always very well made no matter the time of day. The fried chicken wings, crab puffs, and crab bomber appetizers are both just such standouts in what is often an overlooked part of the menu by many restaurants. I have nothing but praise about how this place handles food. The staff is all really nice and welcoming from entrance to walking out the door. They are very good with order additions or food/allergy restrictions and the dishes always come out in a timely (but not rushed) manner, no matter whether it is a weekday morning or a busy dinner crowd. I'd recommend the lunch special for anyone coming around that time, as the deal of egg rolls, soup, and an entree or 2-3 sushi rolls for a low price is a steal. The ambiance nice for sure and the tables are clean, though I do sometimes get disoriented by the wallpaper they use (I think it's just me though). Whenever this place first opened, I was very disappointed in the restaurant. Meals were salt with a side of meat and rice and was just overall underwhelming. But now, it is one of my family's go to places whenever we need quality food in a short distance. Definitely worth a try, even over other restaurants in the area that serve a similar menu.

With a full bar and wide selection of food options, this is a great place for lunch or dinner…read more During lunch, the restaurant was surprisingly full and bustling. Even so, we didn't have to wait for a table for two. The meal was filling. The portion sizes are enough to feed two people. I made some alterations to my order and they were happy to oblige. Our service was great. I could tell the waitress was new and still learning so I worked with her. She now knows that they do have serve a salmon dish that comes with jumbo shrimp, steamed vegetables and the rice of your choice. This dish was pretty good. I could have done without the jumbo jalapeño though. I enjoyed the seaweed salad. It came with a bed of lettuce and a creamy dressing. Not the typical seaweed salad, but enjoyable nonetheless.

I didn't feel like studying the menu, so asked the cashier what he recommended. He said the symphony box was his favorite so that's what i ordered. The symphony box didn't disappoint! The chicken was probably some of the best i've had, and the egg rolls were also delicious. I ordered mine with fried rice which was tasty as well. The inside is set up so you pay/order, get a number, self seat yourself, and they bring your food out once it's ready. There's some cool arcade games along the left wall. Would definitely come back here again if i'm in the area to try something else! It seems really popular among the locals for as busy as it was when i stopped in for lunch on a weekday.

The Bún Bò Huế lacked the traditional rich flavor I'm used to, but it tasted clean and wasn't oily. It also didn't include the traditional pork blood, but mixing in shrimp paste, lime, fish sauce, and chili helped bring it closer to the authentic flavor. The food stayed hot in the metal bowl which was nice. The Bò Lúc Lắc arrived hot and sizzling, just as advertised. The beef was flavorful and cooked well. One thing to note is that it came with white rice rather than the fried rice shown on the menu description. The food was good, and I'd probably come back, but I'd try a different location because the service at this one was disappointing and ruined the experience. Andrew was very helpful, but the other two employees spent most of the time on their phones with their backs turned toward the dining room, making it difficult to get their attention. We had to get up ourselves to ask for a water refill. While in the middle of eating, one of the girls brought our check and said, "Whenever you're ready, no rush." It felt like we were being rushed out while I was still actively eating and it wasn't busy. What was especially disappointing was that she never asked how our food was or whether we wanted to order anything else before closing out our tab. I had planned on ordering a drink after my meal, but after that experience, I decided I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service left a lot to be desired. Better hospitality would have made a big difference.

No one is rude. It just feels like they're focused on getting the food out rather than answering questions. For me, service is part of the overall experience. One example, the menu doesn't list ingredients for the shaking beef banh mi. I asked what was in it and got a pretty vague answer like "beef" and a few other items. The wait for online orders is about a 25-30 minutes as it is a tiny kitchen, serving HUGE flavors. The place is always popping with guest enjoying their libations and soaking it up with the cuisine.
