We were here recently on a sunny Saturday afternoon and there were plenty of flowers in bloom. You can also see the Heinrich Hertz Tower from the park. Highly recommend to visit the park on sunny day and/ or during the spring season.

We entered right near a train stop and had no trouble finding that exit again when we left. Separate areas included rose gardens, a duck pond and Japanese gardens. The flowers were quite lovely and the view of the landmark antennae spiral was very nice. There are some cafes around the park and paid restrooms. There's also a playground and grassy areas to relax. The park wasn't too crowded, probably because it was a cooler day with some sprinkles.

It's a lonely place to walk around and it seems they also use this as a wedding location in town. If you are in the botanical gardens of Hamburg you will see this place as you walk around. A lovely place to visit when in town.
