Hundred taste gives you a hundred reasons why you should come back. Specializing in FuZhou cuisine which is downright delicious and insanely inexpensive. Located in the Arcadia mall on the main floor next door to Pho Best. My initial reaction when I first saw this place was "No way!" The place visually is not appealing and at the time I felt it was more suited for an outdoor hawker stall. My wife said the food here looks pretty good and they have been in business for over a year. After all the rent in this mall can't be cheap so they must be doing something right. English is not the language of choice here, but the menu is in English and Chinese and you can always point to the items you want. We ordered the peanut soy sauce noodles which is served hot. The noodles were tasty as the peanut and soy sauce worked well as the mingling of these two gave the noodles a subtle peanut flavor with a hint of soy sauce in the background, very nice indeed. I had the fishballs and mini wontons and they were ok as the fishballs tasted a little more fishy than I would have liked. If you never had Fuzhou fishballs they are stuffed with a pork meat center. The base soup for these two were on the bland side. The place has a lot of variety of hot and cold dishes. I seen many other fine looking dishes being brought out which I would like to try in the future. One was a pork stomach soup that smelled and looked heavenly. The indoor parking lot at this mall is expensive. I suggest you find other cheaper parking garages in the area.

Foo chow style dumpling soup (It came filled at this level...)

The food is okay at best. I was craving some of these so I decided to order a variety to be delivered to me, and eat it throughout the day. I ordered the soy bean pudding (tau foo fah), soup dumplings, foo chow style dumpling soup and fun with soy sauce and peanut butter. I started with the soy bean pudding and it was alright, but some of the pudding was very rubbery and felt old. I had to throw some away because it was so rubbery it was inedible. Then I tried the "Soup dumplings" which are really baos! I'm not sure if they mixed up the name but I was expecting soup dumplings. These were actually the best compared to everything else I ordered, but if it was supposed to be the soup bao it was very dry. There was no soup at all. But the flavor was still good and I genuinely enjoyed it as a regular bao. Afterwards I tried the foo chow style dumpling soup. I pulled it out and the container was only 3/4 way full. It looked like someone drank from it with how much soup was missing... When I tried it, the actual soup part had a good, mild flavor and tasted as I expected it to. However the dumplings tasted like a sausage/hot dog dumpling. And the dough was hard despite being in soup. Lastly I had hoped the fun with soy sauce and peanut butter would be better but it was SO OILY. It didn't taste like soy sauce or peanut butter at all, and the noodles they gave was spaghetti. I tried to eat it, but I felt my mouth being coated with oil instead of any other flavor and unfortunately had to throw it away. The amount of oil I tasted made me nauseous. I saw some pretty decent reviews so I hoped I'd like it but sadly I do not recommend this place. Maybe dining in would be different? But after this experience, I don't know how much of a difference it would make...very disappointed

    Sauceless noodles

Usually they're good, but on certain days their soy sauce & peanut noodle is completely missing sauce. Just love plain cooked noodles when I'm looking for something saucy. Bad enough it's sauceless but to do that to TWO orders. Really??

We walked into a bright, clean, and energetic space with a fast-paced atmosphere that reflects how popular the chain has become. Even with a line forming at the counter, the staff kept things moving efficiently, and the operation felt well organized considering the volume of customers coming through the door. The dining room has a casual, functional energy, the kind of place where the focus stays on getting a satisfying meal rather than lingering, and the open kitchen adds a layer of transparency to the process. We went with one of the tender combos, which is really the reason most people come here in the first place. The chicken tenders were juicy, freshly cooked, and had a crispy coating that held up well without feeling overly heavy. The coating had a good crunch that stayed intact through the meal, and the chicken itself was moist and tender throughout. The real standout, though, is the Cane's Sauce. It adds a tangy, peppery flavor that works perfectly with the chicken and honestly ties the entire meal together. Between the tenders, crinkle-cut fries, and Texas toast, it is a simple meal, but one that is executed consistently well. The toast is buttery and soft, and the fries are solid enough to hold their own alongside the main event. One thing we have noticed is that the chicken can occasionally feel a little greasy depending on the visit, especially if you are ordering a larger combo. For some people that may not be an issue at all, while others might find it sits a bit heavy afterward. That has varied from visit to visit, but it is worth mentioning because the meal is definitely on the richer side compared to some other fast food chicken options. The coleslaw provides a lighter contrast, though it is a fairly standard version of the side and does not stand out the way the chicken and sauce do. The staff during our visit were friendly and efficient, and the restaurant was well maintained. Food came out quickly, and despite the limited menu, there is something refreshing about a place that focuses on doing one thing rather than trying to offer dozens of different options. The simplicity of the menu makes the decision process easy, and the consistency of the meal across visits is a big part of the appeal. Raising Cane's delivers a satisfying chicken tender meal with quality chicken, a great signature sauce, and consistently solid sides. It may not be the lightest meal around, but when you are in the mood for crispy chicken tenders and a straightforward comfort-food combo, it is easy to see why so many people keep coming back. The meal is familiar, filling, and hits the right notes for what it sets out to do.

The decor is so cute and I love how each canes location has decor relating to the local area. The first box combo comes with 4 tenders, Texas toast, fries, and a drink. You can swap out the Cole slaw with more Texas toast or fries. I love how filling it is and when we got the fries, it was so crispy and fresh. The chicken was a good texture, but I you definitely need to eat it with the canes sauce to get flavor from it.

Chicken sandwich and tenders combo came with fries and drink. Added $1.50 for L fries - made it good for sharing. The wings and tenders basket was enough for at least 3 people. Tenders were different shapes and sizes, some pieces were just batter. Asked for spicy and soy garlic sauces on the side so we basically just had regular fried chicken; I preferred the "spicy" sauce from a squeeze bottle more (like a spicy mayo). Iced Umma coffee was creamy, sweet and I was ok with it. The only employee in the front was very helpful and patient. We did ask for a few things on the side and were accommodated. Restroom available - behind the counter. We were satisfied with what we got so all good. Cheap eats, Good for a quick bite.

We walked into a simple, no-frills space with a practical layout designed for quick meals and takeout, the kind of place where the focus stays on the food rather than the surroundings. The dining room had a straightforward, functional energy with a steady flow of customers coming in for a quick bite, and the open kitchen gave us a view of the cooking process that added to the anticipation. The fried chicken is the highlight, featuring a crunchy, well-seasoned coating with juicy meat inside. We ordered a few items and found the spicy crispy chicken burger one of the most popular menu items, served on a soft bun with fresh toppings that balanced the crispy chicken well. The popcorn chicken, chicken tenders, wings, and the oversized Orleans roasted chicken leg were also worth exploring, each arriving hot and freshly made. Sides like mozzarella sticks, fries, grilled BBQ skewers, and corn rounded out the menu, and the house seasoning powders and dipping sauces added extra flavor that made each bite feel customizable. Everything is cooked to order, so there was a short wait, but the food arrived hot and freshly made, and the quality of the frying came through clearly across the different items we tried. Service was friendly, and orders were prepared fairly quickly considering everything was made fresh. Portions were generous for the price, making it a solid value if we were looking for satisfying fried chicken in Flushing. The staff moved through orders with efficiency, and the food came out hot and well assembled. Whether we stopped in for a burger or ordered a family-style spread of chicken and sides, Crispy Burger delivered consistently crispy, flavorful comfort food that felt both satisfying and straightforward.

I'm just more of a sour…read moreacidic refresher type of guy, so whenever my gf is in the mood for bubble tea, I'm left stranded with something thicker than what I'm in the mood for-- but not anymore! I made it a point to have their Crispy Pork Banh Mi before writing a review and while I thought I'd fall in love with it, it's good but not my taste. I was imagining more of a batter fried pork strips situation, a more westernized method of frying meats, but it was the style of pork chunks that's hyper crispy and puffy at the top and layered with gelatinous fat. It was tasty for what it was and not greasy, just not my cup of tea. It's a particular style of pork-- I'd google "heo quay" if you wanna see what I'm talking about. Also I've noticed it's popular with Hispanic males-- I think it has to do with the gristly fat texture. I guess we share that cultural preference. Yay world. I did however fall head over heels for their classic Banh mi. Heavy on the pate which I love, and a fluffy crispy bread, with the right meat-to-bread ratio. My gf took a bite not expecting much and her expression was pure surprise and delight. It's her favorite place to get a Banh mi for the bread now and I'd have to agree. It's a very reliable representation of what makes a Banh mi stand out from other sandwiches. And then there's the vempanadas. It's short for "Viet empanadas" and arguably what made them blow up. My mom made a lot of these growing up and my mom is regarded as the best cook out of like 8 kids and their children, so I like to think I have experience in this matter, and it's tastier than my mom's. To be fair, it's made fairly differently-- my mom makes it with a flakey filo-doughy crust and TBD has a softer more pliable dough-- think corn tortilla vs flour tortilla. I personally like flour tortillas more and you can fight me on that one. The filling is also more savory and rich than my mother's and the little quail egg inside is such welcomed treat. My mom's fillings are more meatball like and TBD's is pastier. Fun fact: this dish has origins tying it to France; the original dish is pate-chaud. If you google that too, you can see the evidence of a flakey texture. I will say, the first time I had it was more flavorful and I think the egg was missing the second time. And lastly I want to talk about the thing keeps me crawling back-- the ches (pudding soup). I've always had a disinterest in Vietnamese che growing up because my western palate always demanded MORE SUGAR but as I age, my tastes demand more subtlety. Che is a general term for a kind of dessert soup, with some sort of ingredient like a bean or jello as the focus and a sweetened liquid; I know "soup" is a bit of a turn off but it's really the closest English term we have. Think more like milk in cereal or melted ice cream. Is there a term for the milk in cereal? Anywho, the che ba mau is the most popular and beginner friendly, it's a mix of 3 sweet ingredients like mung bean, red bean, Pandan jelly in like coconut milk. If you're Filipino, it's the Vietnamese equivalent to Halo Halo. But what's cool about TBD is they have different kinds of lesser known ones I'm currently having fun exploring. There's a mung bean one with a thicker sweet cream on top-- reminds me pie filling. And right now I'm about to dig into a Pandan jelly, grass jelly, in coconut milk, peanuts, and shaved ice. It's a fun ass summer drink dessert. I highly recommend if you're looking for something different and refreshing this summer.

Vempanada 8/10 This is a very filling, fully stuffed empanada including lots of meat and a quail egg. The outer skin is crispy and relatively thin. I prefer adding sauce to balance the heavy savory flavors and thick meat texture. Crispy pork banh mi 7/10 This type of pork is the Siu Yuk type (roasted whole pig).
