The name is meat market, so we were expecting for it to be a specialized butcher shop. But as we walked inside, it's more like a cramped mini market. They have a lot of meat cut options. Lots of you probably don't see in a typical supermarket. But they also sell vegetables, grocery, dairy, eggs. Ps. The cramped situation is fine btw. It's just what you'd expect. We were here for hotpot meat, hoping to get better price. But same price as typical supermarket. About $15/lb for beef brisket sliced. Quality ok.

The worst service attitude in the United States and LA, they refuse to sell if you just ask them one question what is this and the price are not cheap and the environment is terrible.

Hung Phat is a great little meat shop in Rosemead. Located in a small plaza next to Starbucks. Super tiny inside. Great selection of raw meat as well as frozen sliced meat. Pricing was not overly expensive and the quality was good. The sliced meat was perfect for hot pot.

I have been here multiple times and my mom loves this place! It's a very small mom and pop shop but they have pretty much everything! Lots of fresh meat and small assortment of fresh veggies/fruits to choose from. The most recent time I came was on Christmas Eve morning around 11 to buy pre sliced meat for our Hot pot dinner. We got about 5 trays but didn't have space in our fridge so asked if they could hold onto it and we came to pick it up before our dinner! Good thing we bought it earlier because when we came back during dinner wanting to pick up a few extra trays they were sold out. We got lots of Fatty Beef and Lamb - delish! Will definitely be coming back often!

Their meat and poultry are really fresh, but what I think their most underrated items is their Korean BBQ rib.

This lowkey spot is facing the north bound side of las tunas close to a dominoes pizza. In between Ardmore Dr & Santa Anita St. Across from a hospital(San Gabriel Medical Center) Right next to Dumplings To Go[They have good dumplings there too]. Parking should be easy on Las Tunas but if it looks packed then you can easily go to the back between Ardmore dr & Santa Anita behind dominos and walk around to their only entrance in the front. Once inside on your right you will see all the different choices of food from cuts like A5 Japanese Wagyu to lamb skewers. They also have tofu, mushrooms, condiments and other hotpot essentials. They accept both cash and card inside. No restrooms. Just buy what you like and go. All of their quality meats are your average tastiness; food tastes better than your regular grocery stores. It's perfect for gatherings or a weekend cookout because all the hard work is already done for you. The only downside is the price. It adds up pretty quickly, especially when you start grabbing multiple skewers because there are so many good options. Definitely more of a special occasion or group meal type of place rather than an everyday buy. Still, for the quality, convenience, and the variety they offer, it's a really fun and unique spot when you're craving skewers and want something different from the usual.

When you enter the store, they will default to speaking to you in mandarin, but you can ask them to speak English. They're quick to pack up your order and even gave me a small bundle of cilantro as a gift. Maybe it's because I came later in the day or because we bought a good amount. We tried the normal beef, premium beef, lean beef, and premium beef tongue. I would say the normal beef a bit too fatty for my liking, but that's why they offer the lean option. The premium beef is between the lean and normal beef in terms of fat to meat ratio. It's well marbled. They ran out of normal beef tongue so we had to get the premium. Pricey but delicious and definitely our favorite. Although I've never had bad beef tongue before. Overall, everything was fresh, containers were labeled, and service was quick. Prices are fair as it is still a lot more economical than going to a restaurant. They take credit card with a minimum purchase. Parking is available and shared among all the shops in the plaza.

It's not "fake" American wagyu that's barely prime grade either--the marbling is a perfect balance between the richness of Australian/Japanese wagyus and a regular prime. The staff here are generally friendly and very helpful, and work hard to get you what you want. The only issue I've had over the years was one of the older guys behind the counter charging us for something much more expensive than what we actually asked for, and we had to drive all the way back to get a refund. Not sure what the deal was since we ran into him when getting the refund and he seemed annoyed rather than apologetic lol. But! Aside from that, everyone's great. When they're busy, grab a number from the corner and they'll call. There's a great selection in the case of just about every type of meat including fresh seafood. Bought a slab of Icelandic cod today as well because it looked so nice. If you order a lot, they'll ring you up in the back, otherwise they'll let you bring it to the front checkout to pay.

He's attentive, warm, remembers preferences, gives great recommendations, and somehow always steers me toward something good. I usually ask for fattier cuts of meat and he NEVER misses. The quality of the sliced meats here is honestly better and fresher than what I've gotten from a lot of larger Asian markets in SGV, and the pricing is better too. This is basically my one-stop shop for hot pot night. Frozen sliced meats, fish balls, condiments & sauces, noodles, etc... the store has pretty much everything you need. The selection is great and it's easy to walk out with your entire spread planned. Also worth mentioning: plenty of parking in the outdoor lot, which makes stocking up way less stressful. What keeps me coming back though isn't just the quality or pricing - it's the service. In an area with endless food options, it's rare to find a place that still feels this personal.
