Having left Kroger on a morning shopping trip we realized how hungry we are and the fact we hadn't yet stopped in to Aces. We grabbed a table and ordered big. The fish taco was most acceptable, the ribs were good, the brisket was particularly tender and tasty. The bacon mac was good even in this day and age when everyone and their brother is offering their take on mac and cheese and the rib tips were a lovely mess. This would be a great spot to grab a cheap lunch.

Granted, the interior and exterior are nothing to brag about and the owners aren't spending their money on surface level aesthetics, that is for certain. However, they spend where it matters most- on food quality. Their warm, fresh from the oven bread sticks and fabulous garlic bread are also delicious. Young lady came out back kicking boxes out of the back door, told me we're not open yet. At this time it was 5:58am. 6am they took my order.
