The food is very delicious, but comes with some cons. For the food, it doesn't have any pricing on it and it's kind of deceptive when saying all you can eat, but there's only one section that is like all free and it's hidden in the back. Very good service and we're very nice. The only con I would say for about the service, would be if you have a group of people 80 to 90% of them have to be there before you get a table or else I will let you in. A very aesthetically pleasing though but very expensive. I probably spent like $1000 there for my birthday. read more

It has even earned the ultimate "Asian elder approved" stamp of admiration from my parents, making it a fantastic dining destination for families, small groups, and large parties alike. The food quality is consistently good, and the buffet area is kept exceptionally clean and well-stocked. They even post helpful sauce recipes so you can mix and match your own dipping blends. The menu can feel slightly limited in specific areas, for instance, the thin-sliced meat is only on the hot pot menu, meaning you have to opt for both the BBQ and hot pot combo to order it. It would also be great to see popular additions like steamed egg and cheese corn on the menu, but the current selection is still more than good enough to warrant regular return visits. The staff is a massive reason why this location stands out. The team goes above and beyond to make guests feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Water glasses are always full and dirty plates always get picked up before I can even put it down! During a birthday celebration for my dad, the shift lead was incredibly thoughtful down to the last detail--he proactively offered a candle, perfectly timed the tiramisu dessert delivery, requested my dad's ID for a comped meal, and made him feel remarkably special. On a separate visit, the team noticed my mom really enjoyed a specific after-dinner mint that they have in the candy bowl at the front. He handed her an entire handful on her way out. That level of personal, homey attention makes a lasting impression. The restaurant is notably cleaner than typical AYCE hot pot and BBQ joints (no greasy floors or sticky tables - yay!) , and the astronaut-themed decor gives the space a unique, cute aesthetic. The birthday guest gets to eat free but you must have at least four people to get the free birthday guest! Came on a Saturday night around 6 for 4, was told the wait is around 30-45min so we put our name down. When I got the text notification, we are 35th place in line. Ended up waiting for 90mins and got seated 7:30. Server came quickly to give the run down on how it works and show us how to order on the iPad. We opted for kbbq only and the food came quickly after we ordered them. The condiments bar and side dishes had a good selection. We were happy to have something to snack on while the meat was grilling. Our server also came by regularly to check if everything was good and to switch out our grill plates. Overall great experience but don't rely on the estimated wait time provided. We are always suspicious of chains but this one was great! No reservations was a concern but we got a table for 6 instantly at 6pm. In a few minutes it was packed with lines out the door. Service was swift and mostly helpful but do your hotpot research first if you are a newbie. It's a deceptively large joint and can get noisy, hot & steamy, even in winter. Fresh veggies and meat. Lots of options here at Hungry Pot! There's a long wait during peak times on weekends so I recommend coming on a weeknight. The space itself is pretty big with a small buffet bar for sauces, chicken wings, and other apps. I've tried both kbbq and hotpot experiences and recommend coming in for just the hotpot. I've been wanting to try this place for a few months once I saw it driving through Natick. Tonight I finally made it and it didn't disappoint! The atmosphere is fun and very modern, with all kinds of neon decor, unique lighting, and colorful wall decor. You can either get Korean barbecue or hotpot, for a flat rate. You get two hours to dine and order unlimited food (but they will charge if you order more food than you eat and waste it - they would charge per pound). We got the hotpot. At each table is four hotpot burners and one central barbecue grill. You order from a tablet at each table - first you pick your broths, and then all kinds of meats and vegetables to cook in the broth. Once your order is sent in they bring it out so quickly - they roll out a cart full of your ingredients in probably 1-2 minutes. Then you can begin boiling everything. It's a really fun experience to select all kinds of mix-ins and do the cooking yourself (it's really simple). I got to try all kinds of things I don't normally eat, like squid, lotus root, several varieties of mushrooms, and different cuts of beef. The broths were delicious and the ingredients took on a bit of their flavor. I was so full by the end of it, and it was definitely worth the price. My husband had been interested in trying one of these restaurants for some time. This is a chain and because we happened to have been shopping nearby, one recent afternoon we stopped in for a late lunch. The staff was helpful and lovely. That said, this was not for us. Essentially you are served raw proteins of your choice which you cook yourself on the grill provided to each table. I do enjoy cooking but at home. I wasn't entirely clear when the food was properly cooked...to me, it did not seem like the grill every got quite hot enough. I wasn't crazy about any of it. These places are extremely popular however and our visit was no exception as it was very busy on a weekday during lunch. We went to hungry pot on a Sunday for lunch for their inclusive dinner menu. We had both the Korean style barbecue and the hot pot. We have never tried hot pot and since it was only five dollars extra per person we ordered it. There were lots of meats to choose from. When you sat down the waiter gave me the iPad and that is what is used for ordering your meal. It is very simple. There are pictures and word descriptions. There is a two hour time limit on ordering and the time limit starts the moment you put in your order. While we were waiting for our order, we went up and got some sauces and there were a few appetizers . The best appetizers were the fried chicken and pork bun. When we got back to the table, our meet and vegetable selections were there The meats could have been marinated a lot longer, but they were just OK. Our waiter changed the grill many times which was appreciated. Again, we ordered from the tablet for the hot pot. The staff was friendly and they took time to explain how ordering works (via an iPad tablet at your table). Adequate parking up front. Located right across from Shoppers World. You can choose between a combo of Hotpot or BBQ or both - we went with both. They have large tables that accommodate larger parties...we were a party of 6 and their oversized booth was perfect. Despite the large tables size, there is only one grill for all to share. However, you each have a hot spot for an individual (large bowl sized) hot pot. I liked how easy it was to order what we wanted. Food was segregated between hotpot and BBQ sections. Once you submit, they bring it out to your table. The BBQ (just ONE for the whole table) does take some time to heat up to temperature. They were good about replacement the grill as it got dirty. The meats tasted okay. The hot pot was extremely salty though. This is nothing like Spring Shabu Shabu where there are tons of sauces for you to create the perfect dip. It's not even like Happy Lamb that has a smaller selection. Actually, we didn't need it as the hot pot was extremely salty...we barely ate anything. The snow crabs were not good at all, big disappointment. If you want that, go to Sora Buffet, down the street (the place that replaced Minado). One thing I will commend them on is the chicken wings. However, while they're prompt about bringing the meat, they plop them down without explaining what they are... and when you're trying all 3 - 4 flavors of pork belly, you'd like to know which is which. On top of that, while they take your initial drink order, trying to flag down a server to get a second drink order proved to be a challenge. If I'm going to eat for nearly 2 hours straight... I'm going to need at least a second round of drinks. However, that may have been because most of the servers were actively combatting flooding coming out of the bathroom. I'm so happy to have a hot pot AND a KBBQ spot so close to home! Even better is the fact that it's AYCE. I'm used to having to travel out to Boston for the same experience. I came at 8:30pm on a Sunday night and waited around 20 minutes to be seated, but I think this was just because the restaurant is new and had an influx of people trying to eat in. The restaurant is modern with a retro space theme. It was clean and staff was very friendly, helpful, and easy to reach if needed. You can choose AYCE hot pot, KBBQ, or both for a slightly elevated price (I think $5 more than choosing one or the other). Service is automated with drinks ordered with the server and all food items ordered on a tablet. There's a free sauce area with tons of ingredients. I appreciated that there were some recommended sauce recipes. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of items that we could order. Even better is that all items are included in the AYCE price as opposed to some locations which have pricing based on item tiers or premium dishes. The wait: Let's get this out of the way. This is main reason people give this place low stars. But in my case, it wasn't the wait itself, but rather what happened. We wanted to make sure we didn't wait too long, since that was made clear that they get pretty busy and they allow you to put your name on waitlist by calling. So we did exactly that and were told that even without putting our names on the waitlist that we would probably be seated when we got there ~15 min later. Then we get there and get told that it's an hour to 1.5 hour wait. Why not just put us on the waitlist if they aren't even capable of gauging how busy they are? Anyway, on to the rest of the experience. The food was good. We did both KBBQ and hot pot and meats used for those were surprisingly decent. We've been to many of these hot pot-KBBQ places and KBBQ is usually very subpar due to them not being actual KBBQ places. But this place has a good selection of meats and some of them are surprisingly tender, especially the angus chuck flap tail. Bulgogi was also good. The hungry short rib was a bit under marinated and rather very little meat. But the brisket for hot pot was a bit tough and chewy. But they have many other things you can order, so that's good. The server who helped us was amazing. But it's nice to be able to order from a tablet though so you're not waiting for the servers, who are incredibly busy due to how many customers there are here. But some items that we put in order for never showed up or showed up well over 30 minutes after we ordered. I understand they're busy, but it's a bit much. That being said, they do both hot pot and KBBQ well, and their salad/appetizer/dessert bar was good. Their attention to detail in refilling some items or fulfilling orders, as well as the front staff's ability to gauge wait times over the phone, are all rather lackluster, but it's a decent place to go. We have been excited for trying this new spot in natick! There isn't many AYCE KBBQ and Hotpot combos in MA, so glad this one opened up. We had a party of 6, been seeing promos for the place on socials and knew we wanted to try it asap. Ofc congrats on the grand opening. The weekend has been slammed and we saw many familiar faces of friends who had the same idea, wait tonight on Saturday was 1.5-2 hr wait. You check in when on site, put your name and party size in their system with the host. You will get a link that will show the waitlist, estimated time, and parties ahead of you. The ambiance is nice, lots of LED signs, decor is nice very LA style imo, just from what I've eaten at out on the west coast. Some of our friends got there at 7pm and was seated before us about 30 min. We arrived around 8pm and were seated around 9:30pm. We were seated in the back by the sauce bar, table has ample room for 8 people to the long booths and tables. Each setup with individual hotpot's which is cool. The weird thing is the table's single BBQ grill was stationed at the end of the table rather then the middle, this would have been way better if the grill was in the middle where everyone could reach for their food. Ordering is on tablet and our nice server showed us how to order and their system of doing the food. The staff was very nice, had good attitudes and helpful if you needed something in general. We did have a few hiccups in the way of not having all ordered food come out, or at least it also seemed like even if we ordered multiple portions say 4x Beef Bulgogi spicy it still came on one plate and didn't seem like 4 portions but that's fine just order more. The dishes do come out pretty quick though. Opening weekend, packed shop we definitely understand some things'll get lost in the cracks. We didn't get any additional top off of broth for our hot posts where it came down to being like a paste. So we did wait a bit before being able to cook more food. We didn't get refills on our water or drinks, they did run out of their draft beers after we ordered and ran out of the replacement choices haha but Sapporo bottles is fine. The grill is nice it's got the non-stick pan material unlock most places that char up real fast and need to be swapped out. You can literally peel the char and marinade that is burnt off the grill with the tongs. We tried a bit of everything, i will say for me the two proteins that stood out were the Spicy beef bulgogi, and the ribeye beef. The spicy pork belly was another choice i would go for. We did get the seafood for those who didn't eat meat and they have ample options for that. I got the house pork bone broth and it was light and fine, a tad more salt would have been perfect. The Tom yum is different than most we've had but it was tasty once you get cooking. We just like to taste the both a bit prior to cooking. They didn't rush us out, they close at 11pm weekends and we got out of there about 11:20 it's been slammed so they were nice about letting us try to finish foods. I believe we were the last larger party accepted on the guest list. No phone reservations for now, gotta show up to get on the list. All in all i felt 3.5/5 for this experience pretty good overall. I spotted this place a while back while it was still under renovation and couldn't wait for it to open! The Natick/Framingham area has been long overdue for a KBBQ/hot pot spot, and I love that I don't have to drive all the way to Boston for either. I attended the grand opening today, and the wait wasn't too bad. The interior has plenty of seating, and the decor is beautifully done. Since the place just opened, some drinks, like boba, weren't readily available. We ordered the KBBQ and plan to try the hot pot next time. Initially, the ordering process was a bit confusing, but the friendly staff helped us navigate it. We used an iPad to order KBBQ items, while drinks and ice cream were ordered through the waiter. The open sauce bar and the area for side dishes (eg. kimchi, edamame, shredded squid) and appetizers (chicken wings, fries/eggrolls and crawfish) were great additions as well! Overall, this place definitely has the potential to be a 5-star experience. I feel like I didn't get the full experience yet, but the staff and service earn a 10/10 for consistently checking in on us and being very quick with our orders. My friends and I decided to try this AYCE place a few months ago. The restaurant was not even open but there was already a queue of 20 people. We were able to grab the first round of seats. The AYCE included both Korean BBQ and hot pot for $37.99. However, it didn't include drinks. At the buffet bar, there were chicken wings, crawfish, fruits, desserts and condiments for the hot pot. After placing our orders on the tablet, the waitstaff brought over the items but we were not sure what item was what. Most of them didn't even know how to speak English so it was hard to communicate. Service is horrendous. A little expensive. Not great not terrible. Selection is good, but you have to fight others for meat in the walk in fridge but you can't walk in. read more
