Because I didn't have anything nice to say, I decided to just forget them and move on, figuring (like most sane businesses), they'd leave me alone after a couple callbacks. This was over 3 months ago, and they haven't stopped. I've probably deleted close to a dozen voicemails so far....just got another, which finally prompted this review. Companies like this are hoping you didn't talk to anyone else first, and that you'll play their negotiation game, so you end up ignorantly over paying, while smugly believing you outsmarted them. This might work on some people, but they need to read the room in each situation, because the tactic is costing them more business than they realize.

Lion Country Contracting was highly recommended to us by a trusted friend and contractor. After meeting with Paul, we were so impressed that we decided that while we were adding the patio roof, now was the time to have further exterior renovations made. Not only did we add the patio roof, but we also included a complete update of the exterior of our home. This included window framing along with new siding, facia, soffit, gutters, and downspouts. Basically, the entire exterior of our house was updated. We were extremely pleased with the entire process and the results! Paul worked with us throughout the design process as we determined the layout of the porch, the type and color of the siding and trim, and other details. He was extremely patient and made helpful recommendations as we attempted to decide on each feature. In all cases, Paul's recommendations resulted in a renovation that exceeded our expectations. The entire project took less than three weeks. Paul was there every day working along side his other three team members. I was extremely impressed by their skills, work ethic, quality of their work, and attention to detail. There was much more involved in the renovation than I had considered. They would arrive promptly in the morning, work throughout the day, and clean up before leaving at the end of each day. Paul kept us informed of his progress every step of the way. We are extremely happy with the results. Our house no longer appears as something that was built in the 1980s, but has a much more up to date appearance. I think a lot has changed since the first 2 reviews given in 2019 and 2020. It is now 8/2023…read more I said I wanted an estimate to repair my chimney from the roof line up. Segundo called and said he would come up on Sat. 8/12. We weren't home but he came when he said. he called from the house. Estimate, $1,700 including parts and labor. I took it. I had 3 previous estimates, $4,000, $2,900 and $1,8500. I took the last one but after 6 weeks, the man never showed up. When I called, he was too busy to to do my chimney. Segundo said he would be up on the following Wed. At 8:30AM he was there with his 4 sons. I can't praise them enough. The scaffold was up within 1/2 an hour. The work they did, scraping wherever needed, cementing where needed and filling a hole in the old cement that was crying out for a repair. When that was done, they cemented over the entire work area. Then they sanded everything and used a leaf blower to get rid of the dust. Finally, they painted. I can only appraise what I saw. They were professionals. They worked throughout the day without taking coffee breaks. They knew what they were doing and when they finished, my chimney looked brand new. And they cleaned up everything, all the debris that fell on the grass below. What more can I ask for??? I believe I received much more than the $1,700 I paid. As far as I'm concerned, what happened in 2019 and 2020 is in Segundo past. 2023 is the present. I highly recommend AZ Chimney Repair.
