Lovely little pier on the Skegness seafront. It used to be much longer, but was thrashed by storms…read moreso often they just gave up. As it is, still a nice place to hang out and unwind in good weather. There's a "casino" attached (as always, open only in the high season), but there's no café on the pier as such, but several pubs are available in the area (about a five minute walk from the pier). In contrast with the cheap amusements nearby, this is a nicely quiet place.

The arcade machines are in excellent condition and are fair unlike some you can encounter. It is colourful and loud, just as children like it. The road has parking space as well which makes thing seven better. For those wanting to visit Golden Sands, it has its very own car park. For little kids, they can race in karts outside. Golden Sands also has a cash machine and an over 18's slot section. Collect tickets and win prizes hanging on the ceiling. I went for a Super Mario toy. Worth a visit if you are in New Hunstanton.

They have lots of different types and it's nice to see many of them in such nice surroundings. There is also a café there and a rather nice gift shop. Sometimes they also have exhibitions on, it may be photography or wood turning. The staff have always been friendly when I've been there . It isn't that cheap though, so maybe just a destination for a special treat!

If you like shopping and markets you could easily spent 2/3 hours here and come out with branded cosmetics and tioletries..fake label sunglasses, household stuff, clothes etc.

The only problem is the HUGE crowds, to avoid this its best to go earlyish in the morning. Plenty to eat and drink when you walk round, as well as plenty of toilets. Other than that its a great location, with plenty of other attractions nearby.

There's a small coffee and sandwich shop and a 'parents' area with a range of mags and papers where you can relax while your offspring let-off some steam. It's probably most suitable for the sub-10 year old age bracket. Prices are reasonable there's nominally a time-limit of 2 hours but they don't seem very strict on this when it's not busy.

They take children there from approx 2 months in age right up until they are 12. They are open during school holidays. The care that the children receive during the day from thenursery workers is fantastic!!!! They have 3 different rooms for different age ranges, a baby room room for 0-2 year olds, other two age group with different ages too. The prices are very favourable compared to other nurseries in the local area.
