I worked for a…read moreReal Estate developer and we used Boston Sign for several of our projects and were alway very satisfied with the final product. The team of people working at Boston Sign are really friendly and fun, too! Their pricing may seem a little high, but for the quality of work you get, they are actually really reasonably priced! They are very talented designers and they take great pride in their work! It's great to go to a meeting at their office because they will give you a tour of their shop and you get to see all kinds of examples of their work all over the walls. If there's a cool sign in Boston that you like, chances are Boston Sign did it! We once tried to use a Sign-O-Rama for some custom 'No Parking' signs at one of our properties to save a little money, but that company didn't use the Pantone colors we asked them to and the signs came out looking horrible- we never made that mistake again! Boston Sign did it all- huge outdoors banners, stainless steel entrance signs with LED lights, funky directories with salvaged metal, unique directional signs that really went with the brand identity of the properties, and they even produced all the signage for a history exhibit in one of our buildings (everything from super-graphics of historic photos and ads on the walls to the tiny placard in the exhibit cases). Boston Sign Co is so great! I can't say enough good things about them! If you're looking for high quality signs or banners, especially if you need any help with the design work- I urge you to just meet with the team at Boston Sign (at their nifty office!) & talk with the guys about what you want, listen to their ideas, see their work, and you'll know you should trust me and go with Boston Sign over the really cheap sign places! You totally get what you pay for and your signs are the first thing your clients see! It's worth the investment!

I called again, sent the logo, they said they will call back but no one called again. So I called again yesterday and talked to some guy who was really rude and told me he would get back to me in couple of days. I told him please do because I got couple other prices and I wanted to see his price. Right away he said, he can't help me because he is so busy! How funny is that right after I told him that I got another price than he didn't want my business. That shows not only he charges a lot but they also suck at customer service and getting back to people..! Don't waste your time calling them. They don't get back to you anyways.

Why am I writing a review for Boston, you may wonder? My company has a satellite office in Boston and tasked me with creating a custom metal sign for their lobby. I was not happy about this task for several reasons: this was my first ever custom installation, I work for a persnickety design company, it was our precious logo, and I was 3 hours ahead on the opposite coast. Naturally, I procrastinated....put it off for awhile and then some more, until I overheard my boss telling a VP how I was "all over it" Uhh, Me? Moi? Not exactly all over it, more like just plain "over it"....Ruh-roh, better get busy. I called various sign companies in the Boston area, none of them called me back. Nice. I called a few more, again no response. Were the procrastination gods cursing me? Feeling desperate, I turned to yelp and looked up few more. Within one day, I received a return call from Richard with Ardon Vinyl. Pheew! After our first conversation, I knew immediately that I wanted to work with him. I was very impressed by his smart questions, his patience with my complete ignorance to the process, and his professionalism. To be honest, I was soooo nervous about an expensive custom design installation on the other side of the country and required a lot of hand holding; Richard was there for me-- emailing at off-hours on the east coast in order get back to me, keeping in touch with how it was going, and making great suggestions. He tended to my worries by being totally available, responsive, and helpful. Once it was installed, it was STUNNING. I was like damn, I need to fly these guys out to California and get my office a bad ass sign. It made my day, my week, and maybe even my year. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and hope to use them again soon!
