Unfortunately, the dinner staff at the restaurant are truly awful (in contrast to the breakfast team who are sunny and helpful). Sofia from the dinner staff was unbelievably rude - I am not sure why she's in this industry. It is the first time I have felt discriminated against in all my years of travel for business or pleasure. Anny, her manager, took her side without even listening to me, which left me shaking with indignation. The hotel could also do with more people manning the front desk phone as there is no one that picks up - but that is something that can more easily be sorted out.

Seriously a good walking distance from the train station. They have some really nice and clean rooms that make you feel comfortable. The air conditioning is limited on how cold it can get but you can open a window if you need a little bit of an extra breeze. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful if you are looking for recommendations or directions. Would stay here again for sure! Have fun everyone!

The staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout my stay. The attached restaurant, Krog Roba, was another highlight. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. The only downside was the air conditioning. It did not cool the room sufficiently, and it became humid during the middle of the night, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The staff kindly offered to move me to another room, but they explained that the air conditioning throughout the hotel would not go below 23°C (73°F), so changing rooms likely would not have solved the issue. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel during the cooler months. However, if you're visiting Helsinki in the summer, you may want to consider another property if you prefer a cooler sleeping environment.

As I entered the hotel I noticed the dirty outside facade and tattered Hilton flag. We were given a low floor with no upgrades available. The elevator door buttons were sticky and gross, the floor appeared to not be vacuumed or cleaned in a very long while as well as a disturbing amount of gross water marks on the glass elevator. We assented quickly to the 4 th floor. Not the executive floor we should have been placed on and as I exited the elevator I began to sneeze and couldn't stop. The layer of dust that greeted me upon exited was appalling. Apparently, this hotel cannot reach certain areas and therefore chooses not to clean them on any level. I noticed the same on floor 7 when visiting the executive lounge which was small and cramped and the pool/sauna. Needless to say. I tried to spend most of my days out exploring instead of in a dust filled hotel where my allergies were quite uncontrollable. This was not the Hilton experience I expected not deserve for the money time and effort I am using for my holiday.

The toast was thick and chewy and so good, not processed tasting at all, freshly baked with good ingredients. Sat outside with lots of birds eager for me to drop something, but I ate every crumb. I arrived earlier than the standard check-in time and and was accommodated with my Marriott Gold Status. After completing some documentation I was provided my keycard and was given a guided tour to my room. The room was in nice condition and had a work desk which I needed. I turned on the thermostat as it was warm upon arrival. I attempted to set my room temperature to 18C but it would only allow me to set at 19C minimum. I went out to see the town for a few hours and came back and the room was still quite warm. I notified the staff and the offered to move me to a cooler room which I accepted. The second room was nice as well but was much cooler. The hotel is conveniently located in the Helsinki City Center and many destinations are walkable. This hotel has two places to eat, a bakery and a breakfast restaurant (buffet-style). I didn't attempt to eat here outside of breakfast as several restaurants are also located within walking distance. I can't say enough how polite and pleasant the staff is here. Four stars!

The space was just what I needed as a solo traveler with a quiet room, nice views, sense of safety, clean space, plenty of high quality amenities and products (toiletries, coffee/tea and an in-room machine, etc), thoughtful storage built in, and a comfortable bed. It was VERY convenient to everything I wanted to access, whether walking distance to sites and shopping on my list or very easily walkable distance to public transit for further attractions and the airport. I did not add the breakfast option as I wanted to explore different local places each day, but it did look lovely and the space where breakfast was held was inviting. I even appreciated the blackout curtains, as the sun does set quite late in the Helsinki summer month and rises again awfully early (they really should do something about this ;-) The breakfast is included in the rate and while it doesn't contain hot items such as scrambled eggs, it is perfectly tasty and there's plenty of other things that gave me energy for the day.
