That doesn't mean that I think the clobber in here looks good. Everything's a bit nautical for me. Yes you heard, nautical. If you bought clothes from Norton Barrie you'd kind of just look like a trendy sailor. Which isn't really how I would choose to look. This is a tidy, well laid out shop with friendly staff. I know that some people really love TK Maxx, for ever and ever, pinky swear. But not me. Oh no…read more I dislike shopping at the best of times but the prospect of having to sift through hundreds and hundreds of items to find something that might be ok fills me with terror. My girlfriend is always trying to make us go into TK Maxx and I'm always resisting. However, if TK Maxx is your thing, and it is for probably most of the population, go pay this one a visit as it's massive and full of bargains. If you can stand the sifting, then you're sure to find something you like. I won't be seeing you there though.

In the U.S. I tend to go to TJMaxx for purses and random home items. I say random because I often go without a plan since you never really know what they will have in stock. So when I was looking for some items for our apartment, I thought of TKMaxx. It is conveniently located in a shopping area with stores like Next, Argos, etc. and happens to be next to a Sainsbury's and across the street from Morrison's... and parking is free! The store is huge! There is a lot of room to move about and it isn't cluttered. I wasn't super impressed with the clothing selection for women or even the purses. I tend to head straight upstairs to the home section. Typically I can find some great finds, but again, because the stock is never the same, it can be hit or miss. I have found some great things at low prices at this store, but there are some shelves in the store that always look bare. There are also some shelves that are a bit of a mess... I appreciate that it is contained on the shelf, but it can make it difficult if you have spotted something and have to dig around to free it... especially if there are some fragile items. I also really love this store for kitchen items!

Seeing as the shopping…read morecentre itself always seems to be a bit quiet whenever I've been, I've always fond Scott to be pretty quiet too. It's a clean and organised shop though. Clothing wise I find it to be a bit like Topman, but just slightly more neon. Not in a Kappa circa '98 way, just in that slightly more items in Scott have a neon trim than they really should do. The clothes in here are just a bit too sporty and sharp for me. I prefer stuff with a bit more character.

I went in and the guys who worked their were very good in helping me and giving me that personal assistant which you dont get in the majority of menswear shops you just get rude staff! the guys at d3g explained that they are a local business and everyone who works here are either the owners or family therefore everyone makes that extra effor to keep customers happy. I was asked what sort of clothes my boyfriend usually wears and after asking me few questions they pulled out a few jeans and tops and one of the guys tried them on for me one by one! Before i realised i had already spent 35 mins here and was beginning to enjoy it!!!!! I must say i normally hate shopping for men but his time i was ok!. I eventually ended up buying a pair of jeans and a top and guess what the owner was there who gave me £10 discount when i went to the till! I would reccomend this place to all you ladies who want to buy for your male relatives of partners go in and explain to them they will be very helpfull!
