The food court had 2 people, that hallway and the main hallway had 10 people that I could see. The 2 of us, the 2 in the food court, a mom, Dad and little kid, a janitor and 2 more barely visible. Most stores were closed or empty. Pennys was open but I dont like Pennys. If you have your heart set on a particular store, I would call in advance. We were going to Bath and Body Works. I was worried but it was open. Oh there was a small live band playing their heart out near the food court. They were decent but I felt bad for them. The mall was empty. No one was there to enjoy them. The mall itself was clean. But at 2pm on a Sunday, a prime shopping time, at least 40% of stores were closed for the day. I remember back in the day when Kauffmann's and Macy's were there and still took pride in their store, this mall was bustling. Not anymore. It is sad.

I am glad we did. When we walked in we were not treated like customers, the staff all treated us like old friends that had not visited in far too long. Soon we were chatting just like old friends. The furniture is amazing, the quality is first class with reasonable prices. I was impressed with all of items. The bakery has many wonderful smells and the pretzels were to die for. the petting zoo is under the store (the building is a converted barn on a hillside) my granddaughter loved all the animals. If you are in the area, you should stop, I think you will be glad you did.

I thought we wouldn't be in very long because it didn't look like so big of a place. Inside it's not huge, but we were in there close to an hour. The shop is clean, well-lit, and, most importantly, well-curated. I tried on some hats and looked at brooches. My friend tried on four outfits and bought three. The owner, Toni, made my friend a good deal on the bundle. Toni goes here and there, including to estate sales all over the area, to pick out great finds for her shop. I left with a pillbox hat and two brooches. I was going to give the brooches to my mother, but I'm wearing one on my blouse and the other is on my hat, so... we'll see whether they actually make it to my mom. Toni even threw in one brooch for free. Oh, and that pillbox hat? It was like new. Tags still attached, and the velvet was so soft. I'll definitely stop by next time I am in Mansfield, and I wouldn't be surprised if my friend comes by regularly.
