The receptionist that answered my…read morephone call today, however, was overtly hostile, claimed I hadn't seen my doctor in 3 years (a lie), said she would have to ask if it was "ok for Dr. Wheaton to continue seeing me" and that she would call me back. Almost an hour later, I called back and was informed by this same receptionist that Dr. Wheaton would no longer see me due to missed appointments. She also informed me that my prescriptions would be cut off since I was no longer a patient of Dr. Wheaton's. Good heavens...I hope this receptionist doesn't stay in mental health much longer, because she is going to get someone killed. Anyway, goodbye, dear Cedar Centre and Dr. Wheaton, for 16 years you were wonderful to me.

That being said, I don't bother to show up on time cause I'm never seen until about 15 minutes past my appointment time. The staff can be a little rude and their communication seems to be poor (they've called me multiple times on the same questions, which they could have just asked the receptionist in the first place!). For my first appointment, I had to wait 4-5 weeks to see someone, in which time I was in crisis. Unfortunately, there just aren't good options for mental health care and these logistical issues are the best I've found. I recommend dealing with the staff and waiting if you can, because the doctors are excellent.
