If I could, I would give them 0 stars. My insurance company recommended Simply Superior to me last January 2014, after a rear-end accident in Mercedes. I believe the car should have been totaled but Simply Superior said they could fix it. They charged my insurance $14,500 for the repairs. The insurance sent me the check to pay Simply Superior for the work. Rich told me that whenever I get him the check, that is when he will start working on the car. It took about 9-10 weeks to complete the work. When I received my car, the a/c was not working for some reason, I took it back to him and let Rich know. He took one more week to fix the a/c. I drive this care rarely and when I checked it after a couple weeks, I realized the problem was never fixed along with the steering wheel, which felt a little off and I think there was some alignment issue. I told Rich again and he told me to bring to being it in. After a few months, there was a rattling sound coming out of the hood and I had to have the car towed home and I notified my insurance; they told me to take it back to Rich, so I had it towed back to Rich. The problem was the same still, the a/c was still not working along with the alignment not being fixed and the water pump wasn't even replaced after the repairs. The water pump was damaged in the accident and was never replaced in the first repair and it was fixed when I took it in the fourth time. The a/c and alignment were still not fixed. The fifth time I took it back, he told me he does not have the right tools to diagnose the a/c and find out what the problem is, which he was well aware of from day one. The sixth time I took in my car, he sent the car over the Mercedes dealership service center. The problem was related to the sensors, which were working perfectly fine before the accident. But Rich claimed that these problems were not related to the accident and claim was denied. The same thing occurred with the alignment issue, claim was declined and no alignment was done after the first repair, which is mandatory for a rear end. Insurance gave me $14,500 check to pay Rich but the insurance adjuster told me they paid $8,000 so where did rest of the $6,500 money go? These messed up my car and it's still sitting in my car. I paid to have tires replaced because the alignment messed up my tires. I am paying out of pocket to have my car repaired, which should have been done in the first place. It would have been easier if the car was totaled because all these problems would not have arisen because the repairs done to the car were clearly not complete and I do not understand how Rich allowed me to drive my car 30 miles back home from his shop, with a shaking steering wheel and torn tires, clearly not safe to be on the road. More accidents could have been caused because of lack of the attention and detail repairs. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone, even if the insurance is telling you. I have a $50,000 car sitting in my garage, with the value dropped so low because of the poor repairs done, which probably damaged the car more. If you want to be ripped off, feel free to go here. I am taking my case to the commissioner of insurance, better business bureau and the department of consumer affairs because I clearly have been cheated and I have proof for all these problems arising. read more

Was able to bring my car in to get a quote and meet with the insurance adjuster on not even a couple hours notice. Quote was written up in such a way that ensured I would not need to pay anything out of pocket after it was adjusted (not including my deductible of course). After all the work was done my car looked good as new (had sanding/painting done for minor back bumper damage, so its not like it looked new because they put new parts/panels on; they revived the damaged pieces). When the keys were handed back to me I found my car freshly cleaned inside and out (extremely cleaned; as in felt like it had been detailed). Great cap off to what was great service beginning to end. On top of the great service/product, this place has a good location being right off the freeway and walking distance to both rental car agencies and Concord Bart. I will definitely come back here when I (inevitably) need body work done in the future. read more

My wife and I visited Hustead's Auto Body a few weeks ago. We wanted to sell my father's Saturn Sky for him, but the passenger door made a horrible sound when you opened it. Not exactly a good selling point. I took it over to them and asked for their help. Apparently my father must have run over something and damaged a part under his passenger door. They asked if I wanted them to take a look at it. I said said yes please, and 15 minutes later it was fixed.
