We took the online course to get his permit, which was super easy and convenient. Once he had his permit, they continued to support us through every step. He also took a few driving lessons here--the scheduling was smooth, they worked around my busy schedule, and the instructor gave great feedback to help him improve. We even got to take the DPS road test at their school, and the girls helped us get a same-day appointment at DPS! Keep your religious views to yourself, this is a driving school not a place of worship. The cars are another story altogether. Ancient, dirty and falling apart. Every single lesson I was just hoping the car would survive long enough to get me back. It was embarrassing honestly, let alone unsafe. I walked away after spending so much money having learned absolutely nothing about driving. Not one useful thing. I joined Coastline Academy shortly after and the difference is night and day. First, remember that the course content for the Texas MSF is exactly the same no matter which school you go to across the state: that's how DPS maintains consistency. So what you're looking for is the difference in teachers. I checked out all the providers I could get to easily - being in north Austin that's a half dozen or so. Based on the reviews and the website I thought Bryce over at The Ride Company was the right fit - man, did I make a good choice. First; he respects everyone and is always positive. In two half- days of training (roughly 12 hours) I never heard a negative thing out of his mouth, to me, or anyone else. He's respectful, calm and into teaching. When he needs to give you input he takes you aside - never in front of others! - and it's always couched in ways like "try it like this" or, "think about that." Always positive, always respectful. Second, if you're going to learn the foundations of riding (I can still hear him, "clutch first, then squeeeeeze the brake") why not learn from someone who loves riding and loves motorcycles and is excited about sharing his passion with others? Two wheels is fun - learn from someone who hasn't forgotten that. Really have no negatives to report - there were plenty of breaks from the brutal sun, plenty of 1:1 coaching and plenty of enthusiasm from Bryce. After starting there, within a month she started recognizing lowercase alphabets and within few months she started showing signs for reading readiness. She also knows countries all around the world ( 50+ country names), continents, oceans, famous painters, famous places,US presidents, etc. I liked that they follow Montessori approach so that each kid can learn at their own pace. My daughter is not the one who can sit at one place and follow any curriculum so this school was a good fit for her personality. I can't forget the time when I saw my daughter performing a dance in front of so many people.All thanks o Miss Alla and other supporting teachers. She takes very good care of kids and treat them as her own. Even takes additional steps to make sure kids have finished their lunch. Who does that? This school really deserves 5 stars, and this is coming from a non-christian parent…read more Once you tour this school, you will realize that the daycares or schools that run like a business are never the types of schools you want to enroll in. The teachers here are very loving, and they are true role models that you would want your children to be around with. I can see that my child has better manners after she enrolled. The school operates normal hours from 9-2 pm, M-F. with early extended hours at 8:00 am. You may also come in for MWF or TTH. It is unfortunate that they do not have extended hours after 2 pm. The classes are very structured, but they are more focused on the breadth of knowledge than depth. Also be aware that if you enroll M-F, some of the classes may be duplicated for your children as they planned lectures to ensure everyone had a chance to participate. I think it might be a good idea to not enroll M-F and choose MWF or TTH. The only thing that I would ever ask for improvement is the extended hours and no food heating for children's lunch.
