I called the 60th street pharmacy and their staff seems to know what is going on. So pick your pharmacy accordingly.

When they first…read moreopened two years ago, I did a comparison shopping trip, buying first at Cash Saver, and then getting the exact same items at Hy-Vee, and seeing the difference in my total. I saved 60% on my total bill shopping at Cash Saver, even factoring in the 10% to the total that Cash Saver adds. I decided (on a whim, and just for fun) to try this little experiment again. The only thing Cash Saver had that wasn't available at Hy-Vee was egg nog. I substituted egg nog (1.96) for eggs at Hy-Vee (1.99). Otherwise, the Best Choice store brand was switched to the Hy-Vee store brand, national brands stayed the same. Here is my total: 34 items, Cash Saver 63.85 34 items, Hy-Vee 128.35 -0.03 for egg nog THIS IS A TOTAL SAVINGS OF 64.47! And, that is also accounting for the 10% added to the total. I have never had an issue finding what I need here. I love this store. Before you dismiss it, learn your way around the store. At least try getting your staples here. Sometimes I see expired products, just let the manager know.Its because not a lot of people are shopping here, and that's a shame.

We also got their special that included a bowl of queso- that wasn't our favorite. I ordered just a cheese quesadilla and side of rice. It was pretty standard. Overall, the vibe is very relaxed - 2 types of music playing and the staff playing pool in the back. This doesn't beat our favorite place, so we probably won't be back.
