    Cold Brew
    Vivek D.

I came here on a random Friday morning for some breakfast/brunch. It's currently stuck behind some scaffolding, but there are signs stating it's close by and around the corner. I ordered a loaded avocado toast & a cold brew. All in all, it comes out to over $20, so keep that in mind as this is not your standard breakfast rate food. There are a few seats inside and a few outside, but the inside gets packed pretty quickly. I sat outside looking out on Grove St. The cold brew was pretty good. The loaded avocado toast was indeed loaded. Very filling. It did have a bit too much sriracha, so it became tough to eat after a little while. However, the food was fresh and good. Can't ask for a lot more.

French Toast Latte, Loaded Avocado Toast, and Belgium Bacon, Egg & Cheese

I was meeting a friend for coffee while I was in town and she recommended this place, though she had never been. It was SO good! The French toast latte was flavorful without being very sweet. I ordered the Belgian bacon egg and cheese and omg it was delicious! So many different flavors that all complemented each other! My friend ordered the loaded avocado toast and she loved it as well. The person that took my order was kind and great with recommendations. Thank you!

We went there for breakfast and the food is pretty good! Everything was fresh, well-cooked, and nicely presented. The flavors were balanced. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were also friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. I'd definitely come back again!

Love this cafe!! Stumbled upon this place when I was staying in Jersey City and ended up coming back the next day. We ordered the Belgium BEC, loaded avocado toast, chai latte, Lila latte, French toast latte, and cardamom latte. Everything we ordered was great, and we met the owner who walked us through the menu and how everything was made. The lattes were amazing because they weren't made from syrup, and were made from scratch and wasn't too sweet (they can adjust the sweetness if you want). Lovely atmosphere, perfect spot to catch up with friends and even work remotely. Would love to come back whenever I'm in the area!!

Amazing cafe in jersey city! The iced americano was fantastic-- some of the best coffee I've had in a while! The loaded avo toast was also great-- the bread was super fluffy and the sriracha sauce added a nice spicy kick to the toast. Service was fantastic and ambiance is very casual and cozy. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area!

my go-to spot for a solid coffee in jersey city. Hybrid cortados are like no other -- they really know how to make a good strong espresso drink. the service is awesome, staff are very friendly and even give my pup treats when they have them! the ambiance is awesome, very hip -- a great spot to chill and get some work done. also -- the guava pastry is AMAZING.

@foodie_starry My favorite Cafe in Jersey City! They have the BEST acai bowland loaded avocado toast - yes remember to add egg and bacon to it I tried the smoked salmon toast recentlyyum! Coffee no need to sayboth hot and iced are great It's my way to start the weekend right! The owner Evan is just so awesome! Thanks for bringing Hybrid to the community

The French Toast Latte was perfect. Usually ice lattes have way too much milk, but this had the perfect balance. Definitely coming back!

The French Toast Latte was delicious. It was a perfect combination of flavors. Not too sweet, great ratio of espresso to milk. Usually iced lattes are watered down by too much milk, but not this one! Definitely coming back.

I was in the area for a day and decided to check out this local cafe. I definitely see myself not only coming back for the coffee but coming here just to chill. Aside from having good coffee and what seems to be good food, it's just a really cozy space. The people here are really chill and nice and do a great job. Come check this place out!

Found this place on my hunt for new coffee spots and I must say, this place is really great. Once I walked in, I was greeted by the staff and quickly was able to place my order. Since they had so many delicious drinks to choice from and it being my first time, I asked for recommendations and settled on their lavender latte which was Yum! They also have a great menu of foods to pick from, didn't try any this time though. Great atmosphere with great indoor and outdoor seating!

Came upon hybrid as wanting to try a breakfast spot near by before taking my sister back into the city. Hybrid came up as a highly rated and looked like it was a great spot to try. The place is small with seating and outside seating as well. The place is bright and service was very attentive as well. I wanted to get the seasonal pumpkin spice latte, I got hot one whole my partner got the cold version. We both enjoyed very much. My partner for the açaí bowl and me and my sister got the salmo smoked toast. It was the very time trying and sounded delicious. We both had it and thought it was good but overwhelming after eating after awhile and a lot of cream cheese, I was not able to finish but glad to have given it a try: I would choose something else my next time as it just wasn't for me. My partner loved the açaí bowl tonigh and I hope to try another dish another time!

Such a little cute coffee shop. They had ube chocolate Nutella babka!! Yes please!! So delicious. The woman behind the counter was so nice. She said she picked the best one that looked good to her. I love that. The fruity drink I got was good too, no sweetener in it. Would definitely come back.

Found good coffee place in jersey city. Now I cannot complain that there is no good coffee place. I am new to the area. Tried few coffee places but did not like them. This place is gooood. The owner Evan is simply wonderful person.

Holding it or tasting it gives a substantial, high-quality feel. However, the consequence is that even the staff struggles to scoop it out with their spherical ice cream scoops, let alone the disposable plastic spoons provided to customers. Green Tea: The highest praise Chinese people can give for desserts--not sweet--and it truly tastes like green tea, not matcha. The refreshing bitterness was incredibly pure, even bordering on slightly bitter, which is extremely rare in the US. Vanilla Peanut Butter: Very milky, but extremely salty, like eating peanut butter spread on bread. The vanilla flavor was almost completely masked. Coconut & Cream: I've always trusted American coconut ice cream, but this time it was a bit of a disappointment. The cream completely overshadowed the coconut, so much so that it took me a long time to recall what flavor I actually ordered. Ube: One bite brought back childhood memories, exactly the same as the ube flavor Wuyang五羊 ice cream cone. It was so touching I didn't order this in the end since I want to try more flavors as possible. I don't know why, but ube flavor seems to be gradually fading in China... Blueberry Cheesecake: The initial taste was a rich, sweet cream, with a refreshing hint of blueberry tartness in the aftertaste. It's pretty good, but honestly, it's not particularly outstanding. Banana Peanut Butter Chunk: The staff recommended this signature dish, and it once again made me realize how subjective taste can be... It's on the sweeter and saltier side, with a very strong flavor, but more importantly, it has a noticeable artificial banana flavor.

There's so many yummy flavors - it's hard to choose! I ultimately went with the rocky road (my classic favorite) and the cheesecake with rainbow sprinkles (because why not!?) and enjoyed every bite! I think the rocky road could've used more marshmallows but that's my personal preference for my favorite childhood fave ice cream. Service was great and allow you to try a couple flavors if you're unsure which is great as not all ice cream spots makes the flavors the same! It's only street parking so get ready to search for that when you come to visit - but it's worth it! And read street signs so you don't get towed or ticketed.

I've never eaten anything that I didn't like. My faves are: milhojas, breakfast croissant sandwich, and any and every cake with dulce de leche filling. So get anything fresh, like made to order cakes or things you see come out right when you're there. Otherwise you run the risk of getting old stuff, which sucks that they don't manage that at all. On a Sunday afternoon lines moved quickly and we were able to find seats. This is a cute cafe that offers plenty of savory items and lunches, plus drinks like matcha, cakes, pastries and cookies. There is also a bathroom! The women behind the counter were all nice and patient with my questions, they also kept the line moving and were quick. I had high hopes for the Alfajores as this is an Argentinian bakery but unfortunately the ones given to me were stale. The cookie was very hard. Also the Dulce de leche was too sweet and burnt tasting to me. I also got a chocolate covered one and the cookie in that was also hard and dry. The strawberry croissant was amazing. Never had anything like that before. Not too sweet and very flaky. It has a ribbon of red on the outside which gives it a unique look. I would love to come back and try savory items. I'll continue to stick with the cakes and croissants for desert and make sure it's fresh!
