The incredible staff, music leaders/musicians and volunteers make church a pleasure. Our kids love it there and the relaxed environment allows for an easy Sunday morning routine for us. Children's ministry is excellent as well and the youth leaders are wonderful, especially Ryan Ventura and Adam. I highly recommend. It's a blended community with affluent Indian Hill residents to more middle class Anderson Twp. and surrounding areas. Everyone is welcoming and they offer great bible studies and men and women's groups alike.

Per Wikipedia, "The cathedral is famous for what is said to be the world's largest handmade church stained glass window." "The window was created by Mayer and Company of Munich, Germany, and installed in 1911. It was fully restored in 2001." There is ample parking in the church grounds with an additional overflow lot nearby. It is definitely a beautiful space to visit and attend mass.

The minute we walked in we were greeted by Pastor Adam and he started telling us all about their youth ministry before I even shared anything with him. I immediately knew this was Devine intervention! Soon after this my kids attended a youth night service and LOVED IT. We all met at Taco Bell afterwards where I was introduced to Pastor Adayja. I won't go into too much detail, but yet again Devine intervention Over the summer the kids attended Wake Summer Camp. I also served as a leader. This camp was OUTSTANDING! The spirit of God was so noticeably present. I also came to get to know Pastors Jeff and Jess. They have such a heart for God. Being someone who comes from a rocky past and who spent the beginning of my relationship with God attending churches online, I was so fearful when looking for a church that I would have to hide my past and my struggles. Everyone here has allowed me and my kids to be our true authentic selves without fear of judgement. So many of the staff and people we have met here are such a huge part of our lives and support system. These people really show up for you in day to day life. Not just on Sundays. My relationship with God has grown so much here! Every service from the worship to the message is simply amazing. Pastor Jeff preaches wisely, in a fun way that gives life. He makes it so easy to relate the message to every day life. Forever grateful we found Elevate. We love our church!

I'd never gone to a life giving church like this. It was so unique and so spirit led. What I mean by that is the worship is so God centered and just beautiful. You can feel his presence in the room. What I also really love about this church is how Bible focused it is. It's not just someone talking about their personal experiences. Multiple Scriptures are used in every message. You are being fed nothing but truth which is so refreshing and reliable. Every person I've invited has said they have not had an experience like this either and continues to come back. However, my personal experience with the small group ministry was incredibly tough. I felt that the life groups lacked proper oversight, and the management of those groups felt spiritually unhealthy and exclusive. Unfortunately, navigating the cliquey environment and lack of leadership support left me feeling deeply disconnected and hurt. While the main service has great qualities, I personally struggled to find a safe, welcoming, or structurally sound community here. If you are looking for deep, structured small group accountability and supportive management, you may want to look at other local congregations.

There are many aspects to LOVE, including patience and discipline. The message is given in a straightforward but gentle manner. Topics that can be sensitive, like money, divorce and being gay are all discussed openly, by adults with adults. These are real world issues and are discussed, not judged. I'm gay and I felt comfortable right away. In Adult Forum (Sunday School) I did talk about experiences as a gay person and others were receptive to hearing from me. If people disapproved, they didn't say anything to me. Due to health issues, I can't be in crowds now, but I can worship online. It's convenient but I miss the connection to the people.
