I called, spoke directly with Steve, explained exactly what I needed (oil change, brake fluid check, maintenance reminder reset, etc.), and he confirmed they could handle it with no problem. He even said he had the tools to reset the maintenance reminder. We scheduled for Friday. I called off work to make this appointment and drove over early. When I arrived, Steve looked confused and said he couldn't work on my car because it was "too low." My car is completely stock, no modifications, no lowered suspension. He suddenly changed his story. So not only did I waste my time and lose a day of work, but his website explicitly claims they service F-Types. If a shop is going to advertise that they handle specific models, they should be prepared to do so or at least be upfront about limitations before confirming an appointment. Extremely disappointed. Misleading advertising and poor communication. I wouldn't trust this place for anything Jaguar-related.

Considering my car is 10 years old and that I've been putting off some of the services for a while, I decided that it was time to get those done; however I didn't like the price that I was getting from this place or the other Mazda service centers I called. I figured I'd give a local shop a try and I'm extremely glad I did! From the very first call I was already feeling good about these guys. Lee picked up the phone pretty quickly; I asked if I could email the list of services to them and get their quotes, and he said no problem and gave me their email. He also answered a few other questions I had and kept everything effortless and professional. After I emailed them I got a quick reply from Brian who also answered my questions and provided the quotes, which were much more reasonable! It was very easy to make an appointment for my car, and even when I had to reschedule there was no trouble doing so. I dropped my car off in the morning and met both Lee and Brian who were both very friendly and personable. Their waiting room is comfortable with a TV, a fridge with water, and even some toys to keep kids occupied while you wait. Since I was leaving my car for the day I brought my Onewheel electric skateboard, which Lee saw, and he showed me his e-bike and we talked a bit about PEVs (personal electric vehicles) before I rode my Onewheel back home. My car was ready for pickup by the end of the day as they said it would be, and it's been running great ever since! I also recently got an oil change there and it was probably the fastest one I've experienced from giving them the keys to getting them back (no more than 45 minutes, compared to the dealership service center where I've waited ~90 minutes on average). Everything has been uncomplicated with no surprises so far! Aside from the quick and straightforward work that they do, I also appreciate that they have a rewards program that helps you save money on future services. They are also regular sponsors of local events and are a big part of the community. It feels much better bringing my car to a local shop that supports and gives back to the community rather than going to a dealership that doesn't really do that. The mechanic lied to me. Just to get an extra $30…read more I've used conventional oil or more recently a conventional/synthetic blend for my 2002 Honda since I bought it in 2003. The sticker says 5 W 20 conventional. He put in synthetic without asking and tried to tell me 5 W 20 means synthetic and the sticker on the engine block calls for synthetic because all 5 W 20 oil is synthetic. Not true. It comes in full synthetic, conventional or synthetic/conventional blend. I told him I've been using conventional 5 W 20 over the life of this car. I know that 5 W 20 means oil viscosity is 5 at 0 degrees F and 20 at 212 degrees. I'm doing something right because not everyone gets 20 plus years and 200,000 plus miles out of a 4 cyl gas engine. He just says "No it isn't! Honda makes the car and recommends synthetic! Look on the engine block sticker!" The sticker says 5 W 20, but nothing snot synthetic. He lied to get an extra $30 out of me, but I won't be back because he lied. Pretty short-sighted of him. I might have become a return customer and I might have written a nice review. I just have a problem with liars.
