She just turned 50 years old and has a perfect smile due to Dr. Reid. He is a gentleman and good dentist with a personable staff.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience my daughter had at Family Dental Home…read more On June 2, 2026, I made a formal complaint about a specific dentist due to unprofessional behavior and clearly requested that he not be involved in my daughter's care at all moving forward. The office acknowledged this and scheduled her with a different provider for June 29. However, when my daughter arrived for her appointment, they assigned her to the same dentist I had filed a complaint against. She even told the staff he was not supposed to treat her. Despite this, he remained involved and administered a numbing injection, which was completely unacceptable and went against my explicit instructions. To make matters worse, my daughter was then left sitting in the waiting room with her mouth numb for over an hour (from 9:25 AM to 10:35 AM) before she was finally treated. Although the manager later apologized and called it a "confusion," this situation shows a serious lack of communication, professionalism, and respect for patient/parent requests. I would not recommend this office based on this experience. Now I'm transferring her somewhere else. I was going to bring my 3-year-old there but not anymore. NO trust in this place. It used to be good i have no idea what has happen over the last 3years.

It was very easy and convenient when making the initial appointment for my daughter and myself. When I came in for the first time, Leslie, kindly greeted us and was genuinely excited to have us on "board". The office had a welcome greeting at the front desk welcoming new patients by their first name. My daughter seeing her name up there was very excited! The first apt. was very informative and went very well. Upon check-out I was given (and was also explained) a very detailed sheet of the work I needed, with cost, and descriptions. I do not think the office was trying to rip me off (as someone commented to that effect here) because it's work that I am well aware I had been needing. In between my first and second appt. I needed a refill on my antibiotics and the office staff was very helpful. Of course they asked normal questions to make sure that's what I needed but they helped me with enough to get me by until it was time for my third appt. with Dr. Burch. Shortly after I came in for my second appt. and again, Leslie greeted me very cheerfully and remembered me from the first appt. and even asked how my daughter was. I felt like I had known her for years when in fact it was the second time I had seen her. I was very impressed and felt very welcome, I felt like a person, and not just someone the office wants to bill. So, yesterday was my appt. with Dr. Burch for a root canal treatment and him and his assistant (Kim?) were the kindest people I've worked with. Or, that have actually worked with me. I've had three other root canals done and although I like my former endodontic, I am very pleased with them and the work they did. They (both) made sure I understood and was well aware of everything that was going on before and after the treatment. The only honest complaint I have is that 3/4 of the way into the treatment the anesthesia began wearing off and when I let him know he said he was almost done, which it was okay, but I felt almost everything afterwards and by the time I came out of the office I was in so much pain I could barely open my mouth for the next 4 hours. I guess I would have liked a little more anesthesia to avoid feeling so much pain so soon after the root canal work. Anyhow, this is the longest review I've ever written because I don't have much time to sit and do these things but I am so impressed and happy with this office that I felt the need to. There is another girl at the front desk that has also been so kind and helpful and I always fail to get her name; she is light skinned, green/blue eyes, reddish hair.
