My mother missed Asian cooking very much, so I decided to give this Chinese restaurant a try when I walked by. The restaurant seems to serve buffet as a dining-in option, but I went for the a la carte option anyways, because that's how Chinese people like to order :p I ordered stir fried green leafy veggies (not the mixed ones), a tofu dish, veggie fried noodles, chicken & corn soup, and lemon chicken with the waitress' recommendation. They came out all very delicious!! The seasoning was just right, not too salty. The veggies were fresh and had a good balance of crisp and moist. And the lemon chicken was super delish!!! The veggie portion in the noodle dish was very generous! Rice was good. Overall, we were all very happy! Despite that we still tried to eat some local Finnish food everyday, we actually ate one meal everyday from here during our stay in Helsinki! Haha XD The waitresses were very friendly. They even offered me hot tea while I waited for my take out order. If you happen to stay around the area and crave for some authentic Chinese dishes, try this place and go for the a la carte :)

The dish was definitely spicy but super flavourful, cooked with fermented bean paste, Szechuan peppercorns, red chilis, celery, a few small slices of red and green bell peppers, and more, served with a very generous portion of rice. Wonderfully flavoured dish. Coming from Vancouver, we're spoiled for top-notch authentic Chinese, and this really holds up. Highly recommended.

My colleague (who eats here weekly!) had warned us that much of the food was spicy, and she was very right. I do miss spicy food, having lived in the UK for many years, and traveled extensively in Asia, so this was a delight. The super spicy aubergine (eggplant) was a highlight, and required some chinese beer as a cooling counter-point. Lamb, chicken and pork dishes were all excellent, and the sliced cucumber dish was an ideal soothing counter-point to the copious chilli quantities on offer.
