I came here looking for the traditional German cuisine, but, at first, was a bit disappointed to…read morenot find it at Die Kartoffel. Instead, I found variations on the traditional dishes. I ordered the special of the day, Mix Grill, with grilled meats. The dish was simple, perhaps even conventional, but the quality of the ingredients and the preparation was indeed very good. The place is cozy and the decoration of good taste. Coupled with reasonable prices, Die Kartoffel is a pleasant choice. PS: just the owner spoke some English, so it really feels like Germany.
