Overall, I had a great time at Hi .... not too long a wait to get in, I saw Guetta and Black Coffee. Pack your patience because it was super crowded to the point of being uncomfortable. During Guetta, I was able to grab some space along the fake ivy colored walls, a little bit of personal space, and then worked my way forward almost to the front, maybe 25 people deep. During Black Coffee I tried the same strategy but was not able to find any space.....it was very very crowded even all the way to the back of the main room and I didn't feel safe, so I checked out the bar in the bathroom, just to see it, and headed out. read more

There are multiple rooms at Hi Ibiza, but if you are there for the headlining DJ, may the odds be ever in your favor. Being in the pit, breathing is nearly impossible. Expect to potentially pass out, dehydrate, be pushed & shoved, drinks to be spilled all over you, to lose your balance and fall, be elbowed while people are dancing & jumping, & prepare to lose a bit of your hearing while the speaker blares into your ears. At least, that was my experience. Once you exit the pit, you'll be able to mellow out a bit, since there's actually space to move around as you snake your way through the crowds. If you've got extra cash to spend, I would advise getting a table. For the price you're paying, it's honestly worth it compared to the states. To see the DJ I saw at Hi Ibiza, his ticket alone was double the price in Austin, Texas. The lighting, AV, CO2 and production of the DJ's set were amazing. Drinks are pricey here, a tiny bottle of water alone runs for 15 euros. read more

For context, the bathroom is probably a better club than the best location in your local town. Everything from the lighting, audio, and crowd was perfect. The space even has a large outdoor area to chill out from the sensory overload inside. Arriving at 2 or 3am is probably the ideal time as this place usually closes after 8am. read more

Shoutout to Roberto and the rest of security for treating us like criminals until we were cleared of any wrongdoing. He had the audacity to ask us if we want entry back in the club after. No thanks! Hi is probably the best venue I've ever been to in my life. The place is packed, the crowd can be hostile, and the drinks are expensive...but those are all a given, and I'm not going to hold it against the venue in my rating. I went here my first night in Ibiza and was blown away by the production. When we first arrived, the crowd in the main room was super dense and hard to get through, so we opted to spend some time in the other larger room. This secondary room had better production then plenty of the clubs I've been to! And it isn't even their main room! But they still had several different types of lights, co2 machines, and you could get pretty close to the DJ, which I love. We made our way into the main room at about 4:30am and it was easier to navigate the crowd. That's when I truly noticed the beauty that is Hi. In addition to lasers coming out from the front of the stage, there also were 6 or 7 different types of lights that were being used on the ceiling, all at once, all making different patterns. Not to mention, a massive jumbotron screen at the front of the stage, and reflective panels at the back. All of this made for the perfect sensory overload! They also had girls dancing on platforms in the crowd. While in Ibiza, I went to this venue twice because I loved it that much. When I went back the second time, they had completely redone the light set up in the main room! They had introduced another layered screen ontop of the big one, and changed the overhead lighting. It was truly incredible to me how much thought and prep went into each night, to create the perfect combination of production for that specific DJ. I think that Hi is a must experience venue for any club lover. Sure, the crowd is going to be thick at times, but don't let it discourage you. You can always chill in one of their two outdoor terrace areas, or head into the notorious disco-bathroom! read more

This has to be the biggest club that I've ever been too. There's a few rooms each playing great music. The lighting and sound system are amazing. I can totally understand why this is one of the top rated clubs. Note you don't get the gimmicks that you get in Vegas clubs (eg mechanical chandeliers) if that's your thing. Quite a lot of talent the night we went including Carl Cox, Eats Everything and Sasha. Although there were a load of people, it was not uncomfortable like the other 2 clubs we went to (sankeys and dc10). Left just before 7am and the main stage was still packed with Carl Cox spinning. Prices are high. Cover was 45 euros and mixed drinks were 18. FYI when the 2nd biggest dance floor closed , I noticed a LOT of broken glass on the floor from beer bottles. read more

It was glamour and complete chaos ...and for someone who prefers to avoid big crowds and EDM venues; it was awesome. Of course drink prices were expensive at these places but the entrance ticket was $80 bucks and I appreciate Europe for having reasonable venue prices. The inflation in the US is ridiculous (ridiculous pronunciation like Harry Potter - where's my wand) The venue is huge. 5 massive rooms that you can bounce back and forth in or be bounced back and forth in from all the bodies moving around you. Keep your belongings always secured and if you do - we felt safe and secured in the venue. Lots of staff. Lots of muscle security. Bathrooms were huge. Pretty clean into the night. Sound system is awesome. Lighting was great. Taxi stand afterwards was full. Took an hour to get a taxi but I have to say the taxis were efficient with moving masses of people. We walked across the street to the 24 hour Mercado and got sodas and gummies to munch on as we waited. This is one of the venues to party at on Ibiza and Ibiza did not disappoint. read more

Toward the end of the night there were people in the bathroom just listening to that DJ and not even using the bathroom . The drinks are very pricey, I would recommend pregaming before heading in so you don't break the bank. I spent $15 per beer while inside. I could not believe how I was treated last night. All the bartenders are very, very nasty and are not friendly. When I ordered my drinks, I was paying with American Express and they do not take American Express so the woman took the drink out of mine at my husband's hands put them behind the bar, this man started throwing up next to us the two bartenders runaway into the back and then come with the manager and expect us to take the drinks. He just threw up on. We wanted new drinks and they would not give us new drinks. We fought with them back-and-forth the manager said we are using this as an excuse just to get a another drink. Mind you we had one sip so why would we do that and trust me we have the money for 100 more drinks. The manager was so so soooo nasty the man I couldn't even believe how we were being treated. I really don't even want to come back to Ibiza because of this experience. I've never in my life been treated to rude especially by the manager that is supposed to be handling the situation. One of the best clubs I've ever been to! Went this past weekend to see Hardwell and Steve Angello and what an awesome time! It was probably the best party I went to while in Ibiza. The line to go in was super long but thankfully we were on a guest list and were able to go in pretty quick. Security staff wasn't the nicest but I think they're just tired of dealing with such big crowds. The space itself is hugeee, both in the general section and the VIP which looked super cool. The sound system and the graphics are fricking insane, I was in awe from the moment we walked in until we left. They also have an amazing outside area with lots of seatings and a bar. Drinks are very expensive (I paid 12€ for a bottle of water) but I learned that thats just the way Ibiza is. I'd say its def. a must visit while you're in town! read more

You can pack a concert at Space Ibiza. Came here on a weekday rolling in around midnight and packed! Europeans know how to party. Eric Morillo was deejaying that night. Great music and good peeps. They had some sort of Circus Soleil performance with half nekkid dancers hanging from the rafters that night. They also had people chasing other people and ripping their clothes off. It's true!! But of course, it was rehearsed and they were in on it. Lots of happy people here. Had a good time. This place is sort of in the middle of the highway and hailing a cab takes an effort. While I was in Ibiza, I went to Pacha, Sankeys and Space. Space was definitely my favorite club! The club is HUGE. When we first went in, we thought the first room was the main floor because it was pretty big... after a while we realized that the main room was deeper into the club! Armin Van Buuren was spinning on the night we went. I was able to go all the way to the front. The light show was craizer than ever and the place was just vibing with happy people and great music. It was spacious with ample amout of AC compared to the other clubs in Ibiza that we went to. The drinks are ridiculously expensive like any other clubs on the island. A small bottle of water was 8 euros... worst then the water you get in Vegas! Make sure you pregame before you go! read more

From the outside, this looks like a brand new massive building set on concrete across from the craziness of Platja d'en Bossa (where 21 year olds +) are causing such a sh**show, and you can't help but look and feel like you have aged 50 years in a matter of 5. lol My friend and I bought tickets online to see Eric Prydz, and were so stoked to see him in this glorious electronic music mecca of Ibiza! We got there a bit too ear;y, I recommend maybe getting there around 2AM. The only upside to getting there at midnight is that we had full run of the club and were able to make out where everything was located. We retreated to the outdoor area where we were greeted with a full blown willow looking tree covered in thin lights that umbrella'ed the tree, very pretty. There were lots of tee pees everywhere to engage with your friends and take fake peyote. Okay, no peyote, but had that look! Behind them were some Mario Cart looking mushrooms and then normal patio couches and seats, tables, faux turf. (not ideal for Louboutins) - women take note, always have a pair of flops with you (bring a cute little backpack, with a lock for security.... thieves... for when 4/5am comes around and your feet are swollen like a woman about to birth, let the dogs breathe and still be able to dance. Nothing worse than trying to make your way out of the club at 7am, and every woman looks like she's in the Thriller video unable to walk properly looking like the zombie crawl. Anyhoo... drinks are definitely overpriced. I ordered one round, my friend another. The sound system is beyond EPIC and people are dancing and just so much energy. Me being me, I slowly started to dance and scoot myself closer and closer to the DJ booth to hear the first couple of DJs in the side room. The dark and mysterious H.O.S.H. from Germany, gave an engaging performance! After an hour of getting my eardrums pounded in front of him (picture large black wall of deafening) speakers! I shimmy my way towards the stairs where it's normally a hazard in the US, but the guard was pretty chill and I didn't exactly look like some troublemaker.... or did I? A female stage manager notices that I'm really tuning into his tricks with the mixer, literally mesmerized, and they invite me in, and slap my wrist with a backstage pass. I'm dancing like a little kid on Koolaid and just in awe of the crowds involvement (not like some experiences in the US with 100 girls taking selfies and not knowing who's playing, more interested in fixing their hair and their kissy faces). Next up, with a very smooth transition is Andrea Oliva, with another really great act. When an old skool track "Back Once Again like a renegade Master" comes on, I'm entranced. Yes, the booth was starting to fill up and people were becoming obnoxious, demanding their drinks from the bar staff (who are behind the DJ to keep the peace as well as fill peoples glasses, or water them), I found them to be on their guard, pleasant, not touchy feely, but rather kind, (and my Spanish is weak). Attentive to their surroundings and working well together. I applaud the bar backs/ security there. Great job guys! Moving on quickly to hear Eric Prydz in the next room, it was a bit of a different feel. Trying to inch our way closer to the stage, we pass two girls whom are sick. One projectile vomiting, and the other puking by the side of the rail between the main floor and the upper VIP rail. Just gross. There is smashed and broken glass everywhere, and me being the pro and noticing everything, I gran my friend and we beeline it towards the VIP section by the stage to get a good look at Eric (who is OUTF@@'ING standing! He was dancing and laughing and singing and paying attention to the crowd the ENTIRE time. The light show was spectacular and you can tell they put effort into making DJs and their performances something to be reckoned with. Once up in the VIP area, with girls stopping by regularly offering massages, haha, staff is still attentive and I felt that my belongings were safe there. I had such a blast, danced my little tush off until 6AM, flip flops and all. Okay okay they were Valentinos, but still. read more

We should have followed the locals' suit and boycotted as well. We weren't able to purchase tickets online, and the ticket seller "accidentally" selected to charge me in USD instead of the recommended Euros. Therefore I paid 73$ just to get in. So I wasn't exactly stoked to pay 20€ per drink. They even use jiggers so our drinks were weak. Unless you're into DJs that keep lowering the music to tell you to put your hands in the air, and seem clueless that they are feeling themselves a lot more than the crowd is feeling them, you might want to head elsewhere. Ironically, our favorite room and sounds were in the bathrooms where they have a DJ booth. We had fun with that, but I wouldn't go here again. Sad to have missed out on Space. read more

Honestly so disappointed in this clubs staff. Every single person we spoke with was horrible. Was my first time visiting after the Space redesign. Prydz the first night, Armin the second. The first night with Prydz was great, though 70% of the crowd probably didn't know who he was. The club is OK. Seems small inside, more intimate but rather boring. Nice outside areas through. Second night we had major issues. We walk up to the club at 0:55 (our tickets were till 1am) and there's a long line. As my wife is finishing her bottle of water, the security check person ripped it out of her hands and threw it away. I now understand since waters are 12 euros each. Then in her purse he took out her hand sanitizer and threw it away as well without any explanation. We finally make it to the ticket scan at 1:03 and they tell us that we cannot enter because our tickets were till 1:00 and that we would now have to pay an additional 20 Euros each to enter. After explaining to the that we were there before 1, and that there was a long line, I was told "not possible, not possible." Hi: Let me tell you, it IS possible, it did happen, and shame on you for scamming people like this. A far cry from Space, we will never go back. The only reason I have a second star is for the team who works on the lighting and light racks. Clearly a lot of effort is placed on that I can appreciate how much work that takes. read more

Space is one of the biggest clubs in Ibizia and on the Playa Den Bossa side. I guess we went on an off night because Kat and I did not enjoy Space Ibiza even though it is currently ranked #2 in the world. We've heard nothing but amazing things but we definitely did not go on the right night to go. They absolutely did not pull out the usual lights and stuff and had only mediocre djs that night. The decor was some weird blob things hanging from the ceiling that looked like actually looked like hanging pieces of shit... which was pretty funny! I really wish I could have came here for a better night with all the special effects. All in all it was a pretty tame Thursday night at Space. We were able to see some djs spin but were not really impressed. The guy kept cutting songs at the worst possible beat and it was hard to enjoy dancing to it. The good parts of this club were that there were various rooms for you to check out. Although the second room we went to was considerably smaller and not the main floor, it had a more intimate feel and we enjoyed hanging out at the bar more. The dj in this room was also considerably better and a lot more fun to dance to! For sure some other people had a much better time than we did... especially some groups of people sporting some large black dots stamped all over them (sooo freaky looking). Luckily for us, we met some other New Yorkers and made some friends who mirrored our opinion of Space... maybe next time we'll have a better time. Went to Space on a saturday night for Cafe Ole which was there "poly sexual" burlesque night meaning everyone gay, straight, bi, trans, whatever welcome and it was definitely my favorite night in Ibiza and the best clubbing experience I have had in my life. lol. They have numerous male and female performers who by the way are all extremely hot and half to fully naked, drag queens, burlesque dancers, male dancers, they have guys and girls swinging from the ceiling, I mean its crazy epic. The resident DJ was amazing playing some awesome house music and as you can tell by the name of the club, Space, it is huge with more than enough space to hold the several thousand happy dancers. Getting drinks was not a problem and the staff were very friendly. The crowd was awesome and everyone just seemed genuinly happy and I mean how couldn't you be we are in F***ing Ibiza for christs sake lol. A quick tip: in Ibiza town they have the parades with people promoting the different clubs usually around midnight of each night, well that night we ended up getting free wrist bands for both Space and Amnesia through them, so make sure to pre-funk in Ibiza town to get those hookups. It saved us what 50-60 euro.... Again probably the best night of my life, totally amazing!! read more

I went here in summer 2013 and saw advertisements all over the island for this club so a friend and I who were spending a few days on the island together decided to check it out. Carl cox was the main headliner playing while we were here in July. The club is located right in the middle of the club scene in playa den bossa and was very close to my hotel Of course just like everywhere else in Ibiza it was expensive to get in (50-70 euros) and drinks were about 15-25 euros. That's just the going rate for an island in the middle of the Mediterranean. If you are in Ibiza and looking for a wild night you definitely should come here read more

Was headed to Ibiza for opening parties. At first, I was a little skeptical of Space - though it's considered one of the top clubs in the world, I wasn't too excited about any of the djs - I heard Armin used to spin here, but no longer. Glad I went, because it was an absolutely amazing! For the opening party, they turn the parking lot into an outdoor stage from noon until midnight. I heard they do this for the closing party as well. This bumped their already massive capacity even higher. Afterwards, I explored the rooms inside. There were 5 I believe. The main room is where it's at, where you're surrounded by lights and sound from all over. I felt completely immersed in it all. I wandered the other rooms to check them out in total, but spent most of my time in the main rooms (though the other rooms were great for cooling off). Overall, I had an incredible time here. The atmosphere is nothing short of magical. Can't wait to go back. read more

Lasers. Lots and lots of lasers. Boy these people know how to throw a party. The laser show was like Hal of A Space Odyssey rocking out after he got his evil way, it was like being dropped through space yet being shot at. The place is huge. The people are chilled and beautiful. The drinks are, 'HOW MUCH?!' €15 for a shot of spirit, it's free pour so be sure to smile at the beautiful bartenders or else smuggle miniature baby bottles of rum in your bra and play it off as an ode to a Gaultier designed Madonna style bra. I am not ashamed of what I did, in the contrary I am proud of my smuggling moves. Upstairs plays mainstream tracks and there is a huge white caterpillar type thing that you can lounge in and watch all the ripped bodies walk by and you can also play the: 'guess the homosexual game.' It's harder than you think, continental Europeans love very tight clothing and padding in their swimwear but that's a different story. The sound-system is insane! Go into the main room and there is just a wall of speakers with the DJ's above looking down at Madonna nipples. You know a sound system is AMAZING when you wake up the next day with no ear ringing. But after running back to our condo to get ready for the 2nd time, we headed back to Space walking. After that cardio session my mind was coming back to its normal state and when we reached Space and went inside none of the other rooms were open. My friend who went there before told me there were more rooms and probably were open on specific days/nights. Long behold, went here a 2nd time for "We Love" and it was 1 of my most amazing nights. Met so many women in 1 session. I loved how they had various dj's in each room with different genres of house. And drinks galore. Only problem I had is some of the bartenders had attitude, but then again you can't blame them when they're dealing with drunk, belligerent customers at 5-7am! Got to the ticket taker at 12:59am but she decided to have a word with security about something before scanning our tickets. Scanned the tickets at 1:01am and were told we had to pay an extra €20 each. I tried pleading my case but it's like talking to a brick wall. What made it even worst is we went for Glitterbox.
