Unlike the other 2 CGH properties I've stayed in before, this one doesn't come up to scratch…read more It's been built in a hurry without much attention to detail. No wash basins in any of the toilets in the apartments for example. We had a shower room with no door in our room. The ski lockers are awkward to get to, the code panels for the outside doors are quite far from the doors themselves. There are no private showers in the spa area so you have to go back to your apartment to have a shower after using the faclilities. It claims to be ski in, ski out but isn't; there's no piste that goes past the building so it's ski out at best, but not ski in. There are no restaurants or pubs nearby. This was a huge problem as we were a group of 45 people in 9 apartments and we had no place to congregate. Only 2 keys per apartment and you couldn't leave them with reception without kicking up a fuss. Only one locker key for a whole apartment in the spa, and the lockers are only big enough for 2 peoples' things at most. Although the staff were really nice to me, unfortunately everyone else had at least one complaint to make about them. It's such a shame as the poor location and absent social facilities around Kalinda village spoiled an otherwise awesome trip, In 5 years when there are a few restaurants and pubs around, this place might be worth visiting, but at the moment you're paying a premium price for staying in Tignes without actually being in Tignes other than by loose association.

Avoid at all cost…read more The owner of this "apartment" hotel (apartment means there are no services of any kind) operates a loud nightclub out of ground floor of the same building. Music and screams of drunk teenagers go on until 2 AM. We had planned to stay here for a week with our elderly parents but it was impossible to sleep. We left after one night. We were on the fifth floor, but this did little to attenuate the noise. To add insult to injury, the owner refused to give us a full refund for the remaining nights. Only by raising a dispute with our credit card company were we able to get our money back. Fortunately we were able to find a nice condo in a nearby town, albeit at a higher price. Despite the best effort of Alpina Lodge/Madame Vacances our vacation was not ruined. If you read all the reviews online you'll see there are numerous complaints about noise at this place and the owner appears to justify this with a "hey, it's a party town!". Make sure you drill down to both negative and positive reviews and don't just look at the first few. This problem by far overshadowed the other issues: - the rooms are cramped and in poor repair. Our balcony door could not fully close. - there didn't seem to be much fire safety. there's wood everywhere and we did not see a fire escape. On the positive side, the sheets were clean. For what it is, this place is vastly overpriced. Perhaps this is a good place if you're a 16 year old budding alcoholic. It's awful if you come to ski.

Tous sont dotés d'un balcon avec vue sur les montagnes. Vous pourrez préparer vos repas dans la cuisine équipée d'un lave-vaisselle, d'un réfrigérateur, d'une cuisinière et d'un four.
