I've been going on ski holidays to the Alps for years and my expectations are moderate when it comes to these places. The hotel itself was renovated fairly recently (5-7 years?) and it shows. The rooms are significantly larger than I've been used to and all the fixtures and general feel of the place is very good. The beds are comfortable but could use a bit of a refresh. The hotel itself is a small 5 minute walk to the lifts, or just a couple of minutes to the bus stations that will take you to one of the Daille or Fornet. Ski shops and restaurants are located all around, and a market is literally next door making shopping extremely easy. The staff are truly friendly and great, and the meals were generally excellent compared to the usual fare. Very much recommended if you're heading out to Val.

It is just off the slope mid-mountain in meribel but easy for people staying in the village to get up if they can cross one trail from the rhodos bubble. My wife and I both had the croustillant de tartiflette, which was excellent--nice and crispy pastry with some salad. She and my daughter had the bhudda bowl and I had the vegetarian curry. They were all huge, very tasty and reasonably healthy.

It's a four star hotel with a log cabin flair - and a good hotel, no doubt. Maybe my three star rating is a little tough, I admit - because I can't really say any really negative things about it. The main reason why I don't feel I can't go any higher is because of the prices you have to expect in Courchevel. I think that the four star rating is a little bit generous, and the regular prices of 500 to 600 Euros per night are quite steep. I know, it's Courchevel, and the prices are generally astronomic, but still, it's a lot of money. The rooms aren't big, but not too small, they aren't very stylish, but always clean and well kept, the breakfast isn't spectacular, but fresh and sufficient, the wifi is sometimes extremely slow, but it's for free, the pool is a little small, but at least they have one. Clearly, the friendly, helpful, prompt, and courteous service is great, without a "but". Clearly, I did enjoy my stay. I have absolutely nothing to complain. Maybe I stayed in one of the really good places in Courchevel - judging by the service we got at most of the restaurants in Courchevel, I actually suspect that this is one of the friendliest hotels in town. And maybe, if I could get a sense of price/quality in other places in Courchevel, I might have to revise my judgement. If you do go to Courchevel, do compare. If you find this place ok priced in comparison to other ones, and want to be sure that you stay in a nice and friendly hotel, consider this one.

No shampoo/shower gel unfortunately. Breakfast fast was ok: bread, muesli, pain au chocolat, croissants, yoghurt, cheese, ham, butter, marmalade, fresh and dried fruit, coffee and tea and hot chocolate. 12 euro I thought was too much to pay for this selection... The price of the room was also steep.. Guess that had to do with the location, time of year and fact that we only spent one night there.

When we got to the room, it was a tight space but there are other rooms you can rent that are much bigger. We didn't need it but I would recommend a larger room if traveling with a family. The ski rental was seamless and easy. They even give you a locker what heats your ski boots! Sold!! The spa facilities are world class! It gets super busy after 5pm as everyone gets off the hill but still great! The sauna and hammam were hot which we appreciate, there's an ice room and also a pool. The dinner the first night was impressive! Braised lamb fell off the bones and a beautiful salad bar! Great wine selection and liquors! The bar area is great for kids and adults. Overall, I think they've got this placed dialed in...super happy I booked this place!
