At the bistrot I had oysters and the linguini alla vongole, clams and pasta. The oysters were delicious, so fresh, served on a plate of ice. The pasta was also delicious. Service was very attentive and well done. We sat outside and enjoyed the sunset views. We had lunch at the restaurant a couple of days later. I had this beautiful grilled octopus leg. Perfectly seasoned. Service was not as good at the restaurant. IDK why, they acted a bit rude. Perhaps because we didn't order many things? It was unnecessary to behave that way and for the 50€ I spent they could have been nicer. It took half an hour to get water. The food is good but seriously not worth the aggravation. Go to the bistro and skip the restaurant. Both have nice views.

The Mr. and I only had one night at the beautiful Hotel Dormy House. The setting on top of the…read morehill, with sweeping seaside views, couldn't have been more magical. We booked room #3, because we wanted a scenic view and boy oh boy did we get it. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the modern bathroom and that there multiple outlets in the room, The grounds were spectacular, and offered beach access. We had dinner in the bistro and enjoyed the fish and chips and friendly service. If the opportunity presented itself, I would happily book a stay at the Hotel Dormy House.

Nice little hotel close to the beach. Good place to stay, it looks as if they have rooms with…read moreshowers but we got one with a bath-tube. No big problem, just as it has a cleaning automation, after 10 pm you are not supposed to use the bath tube (nor the little hand shower). Breakfast is good (as in a bed & breakfast), it is the same room where you can have your dinner. It is also possible to eat outside with a view to the beach. The place seems to belong to the hotel and is called Cafe Restaurant du Perrey. First night we had dinner and personnel was very kind and even spoke Spanish. Next time I had dinner it was a disaster. The filet du bœuf was ordered bien cuit. It did not come this way and I can understand this. We asked to cook it better and they cut off the part we showed that was "bleu". This time I showed them that this was not what I asked for and they corrected it. It may be a language problem that we did not have the previous day. I will try to find something better in the future.

Stopped in here for lunch on a trip to Normandy and had a delightful lunch. Building is rich in…read morehistory and charm. The young lady serving was delightful and accomodating for two Americans with limited French language skills. Loved the place and wish we could visit again. HIGHLY recommend.
