The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel features a Chef who trained under a Michelin Star Chef which equates to really special diners at the establishment, along with Jura wines. I indulged in tasting the wines from the region and two outstanding diners. There is one entrée featured each evening, I had the veal the first evening and the sea bass the second evening. Both prepared beautifully to perfection. The rooms are large by European standards and very clean, with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is located 1:30 minutes from Geneva Switzerland and easily reached by freeway. There is a back road route that is the ride of terror with steep turnback's and tailgaters who drive like maniacs. Not recommended unless you are looking for a thrill ride and white knuckles. Great price/value and truly a way to experience the culture in France. The town of Poligny is a 5 minute drive from the hotel.
