Been in here a few times as our friends live just across from here. First time we went we wondered what we had let ourselves in for. At lunch time the plat du Jour is pot luck and depends what time you arrive...our best meal was salad to start, then fish and little rosti potatoes (we thought that was it at this stage..) then a dish of four huge steaks appeared with a platter of chips, then the best creme brulee I have ever tasted followed by cheese and biscuits...oh and a bottle of wine between two. The men sent us to pay thinking it was going to cost an arm and a leg. it cost us 40 Euros for all of us!!! It gets packed at lunch times with workmen and if you are looking for posh surroundings forget it, but, if you want really good well cooked French cuisine this is the place to go....Enjoy!!! read more
