Excellent location and friendly service. Very good value. Only complaints are spotty WiFi coverage and hot tub not warm enough.

(Review of dinner service at the * restaurant at this hotel, La Table de l'Ours)…read more The chef's tasting menu here at La Table de l'Ours is a Michelin-endorsed spectacle. Each course is better than the next and we all felt that the arctic char was a special achievement: a large portion that still "belonged" in a fine dining lineup. Everything from the seats to the plates was commendable. Only complaint was that dinner was painfully long. Nearly 4 hours passed between walking in and walking out of the restaurant. Really had us wishing they offered 5:30 PM reservations in Europe.

But we noticed that they do this at a few places in this region.... Staff is friendly and helpful & the hotel is nice as well. Definitely recommend it for a nice casual family dinner.

Negatives would not be hard to fix but need mentioning: fitness center is terrible, equipment looks like bought one of each different type of machine used on ebay. Even weights were crazy with like five dumbells, not even in pairs with matched weights. Shower in fitness center unisex with no place to change except a swing-door tiny dressing room. Wifi was some antiquated system. Also be careful with 'twin' beds and the first room provided was a 'junior twin', by memory something like 27" wide like a tiny cot versus normal twin width of 39". To emphasize, very nice people there, and just suggest the owners invest the not huge amount of money to fix the issues and deserve five stars.

I cannot recommend it highly enough. two small potential improvements perhaps the pool area could do with a repaint, and a different key for ski lockers to save returning key to reception but these are such minor points. In terms of value for money, quality of cuisine and outstanding service for me this hotel is second to none. Can't wait to come back.

Very nice but has its downsides - walls between apartmnents are paper thin & if like us you have noisy neighbours it can be a nightmare. When we stayed, we had dinner included for one night. Service impeccable. Not as expensive as it sounds if you book direct & go in a group.
