If I can can rate 0 stars I would have I had an extremely disappointing experience with I-80 Towing in Laramie, Wyoming. They charged me over $3,600 to tow my truck less than a mile, which is outrageously overpriced. After doing some research, I found that other companies would have charged less than $1,000 for the same service. Also I believe my truck was never towed so there's an ongoing investigation because we believe it actually got driven to their yard and just keep saying we have proof it didn't but they don't prove it so they are definitely bluffing. The computer of the truck will indicate if it got driven or not so it's at the dealership as we speak. When I tried to resolve this issue by speaking to the owner, Thomas Mullan, I was completely ignored. The staff refused to connect me with him or even discuss the matter. It was clear they had no intention of resolving my concerns or explaining why the charge was so exorbitant. This company clearly lacks business ethics and operates without any sense of fairness or customer service. They are taking advantage of people in need and refusing to be accountable for their actions. I strongly recommend avoiding I-80 Towing if you value transparency and reasonable pricing. Where do I start? Our granddaughter broke down between Rawlins and Elk Mountain on her way home to Loveland CO. First of all, shout out to all of the towing companies we contacted from Rawlins, Elk Mountain, and Laramie! Thank you! You all worked together to eventually get us to I80 Towing! Rawlins said to hire one from Laramie since our granddaughter was broke down going towards Loveland CO. A&C towing quoted an eye dropping amount and suggested I80 towing since they have more drivers and may be able to tow for less $$. Thanks for your honesty. I80 towing ... from the moment of the first call, to a few other calls, the dispatch lady was very kind and had a calming voice. The quote to Laramie was half the cost of others, and then we changed delivery to Loveland and the quote was reasonable and what others quoted to deliver to Laramie. Come to find out after my granddaughter was towed to Loveland by a very nice driver Jeremy, the charge was less than quoted! Thank you so much I80 towing!! I would give zero stars to this company all of my belongings in the car that was impounded I was not allowed to retrieve not even with a notarized letter from the rental company several weeks later the rental company retrieved my car and I had to wait for them to even get my belongings when the belongings or what was left of them were returned I was missing a computer bag a tablet my family members ashes And three car titles that were in my computer bag as well I'm not sure where to start whether I should start just file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau or to file a police report all I can say is don't trust these people don't leave your things in the car they will not be returned to you and the company will not make it easy for you to retrieve your important personal items. My car broke down outside of Laramie and my insurance company recommended this shop. My insurance actually sent in the request for me, but I did have to call to make sure they received it. The driver called me right away and told me he was on his way up the pass. When he arrived, he was incredibly kind and asked if I was ok. I then sat in the cab while he loaded my car up. We had a really good conversation on our way back to Laramie and he recommended some shops for me to take my car to. He asked if there was anything else he could do to help. Fast forward to the next morning, I called the shop again to see about a tow from my friends apartment to the only shop that would take it. The same driver called me again and let me know he was about 5 minutes away. He took me and my car to the shop. While he was leaving, I tried to give him a tip for all of his hard work not once but twice. He refused and said that I didn't need to do that. He was incredibly honest, kind, and patient with someone who doesn't know a lot about cars. I will recommend this shop to everyone who passes through because of the quality of service I received. read more

I had to wait a little longer due to COVID, but they were so helpful when they arrived. They helped remove the big rig tarp from under my car and drove me exactly where I needed to go(Riegel Body Shop) which was also very helpful. On our way he calmed me down (it was scary having a huge 50lb.+ big rig tarp come flying at me) and assured me that Riegel was a reputable place to go and they would help me. Absolutely recommend going with any one OTHER than this company, An accident in condo parking lot less than 3 BLOCKS from the collision company = $225! Company will take advantage of local college students! In comparison another tow in a different college tow less than 2 weeks apart......that cost $85 for FOUR MILES! read more

I am blown AWAY with the exceptional service I received from I 80 Towing out of Laramie!!! They worked with me on pricing as well as helping me move my truck to two different garages. We broke down Saturday afternoon on I 80. Bob had a tow truck on scene within the hour...Ed the driver was super super nice! He offered to take us where we needed to go. They dropped me and my family off at a Motel with our ATV and trailer, then pulled our truck into the overpriced Ford dealership. When the dealership could not get the parts to fix my truck in time and asked, what I perceived to be an unreasonable amount, to fix my truck, I 80 sent Ed back over to pick my truck up and take it to another garage. Bob, ED and Adam went out of their way to take care of us! Such a comfort after breaking down 650 miles from home! These guys are top self! read more

Rude and unprofessional. The way they approached me as a customer was borderline threatening! The ladies in the front office were not interested in helping me, and just immediately called for their manager, a grungy guy in an oil-stained onesie who got in my face with his pall-mall heavy breath. It seems that their primary business is towing for the city, and they do not have an interest in helping anybody - just squeezing honest people for money. We were moving across country when we broke down. The insurance sent 180 tow to the rescue or I should say rape. Driver pulled some scam taking us to their competition warrens tow most likely because I'm handicap and told him to go slow talking because I get confused from a stroke. Long story short due to I80 tow ,Pal and warrens here we sit in a motel since Monday . Do to the scam we sit here a 2310.00 out of pocket when it would have only cost us 700.00 if they would have towed to Cheyenne like we requested. The worst part is we promised to be in ks by last Wednesday because my 5 yr old granddaughter needed her kidney out and my grandson I've never mets birthday. These people should be ashamed for taking advantage of travelers. I recommend doing business elsewhere. read more

3400 dollars for two hours of work picking up a wreck. The owner refused to send me an itemized receipt on the day of the accident presumably so I can't challenge it so I'd be forced to keep my car here longer. Today's day is New Years 2020, just staring this for the record. read more

This company stinks. They improperly jumped my car and fried the electrical system - my radio/CD panel didn't work, notification lights that normally go off after a few seconds stayed on, the car wouldn't accelerate when I pushed on the gas petal. Of course they didn't want to stand by their work and pay for the damage repairs, saying something was wrong with my car (my car was only a bit over 4 years old at the time and people don't buy Toyotas because they fall apart in that short amount of time). Only because I had a 3rd party company hired by my car's maker was why I was able to get the money for the repairs. I realize this is one of only a few roadside assistance/towing companies in Laramie, so there's not much choice. They did do a good job the previous times they jumped my car, so it's not that they are completely horrible and should be avoided at all costs. However, I warn you to watch them work from the beginning if they are to give you a jump - make sure they are hooking it up in the right order; if you don't know at least stand there and ask questions to make them think about what they are doing while they are doing it. Be especially wary if it's near the end of the day, they are human after all and watching them/asking questions will help you and them avoid headaches of going through the repair claims process. read more

It worked out and the young gentleman was helpful and got us out. I just had another tow because my car would not start and both the office staff and the 2 tow drivers were very helpful and friend. These people are crooks and bad people. They are also INSANELY expensive. We missed our wedding date because of them and their lies. They have kept our camper in Arlington and refused to bring it down to Laramie. They lied to me about being in touch with the insurance company so they could keep our camper longer and charge more money. The employees, especially Amanda, were unbelievably rude and lied about pretty much everything. They won't answer or return our insurance company calls so that we can tow our camper away from this crooked towing company! When I tried to call the owner, Tom, after 5 pm, they clearly blocked my number. Truly terrible people that don't care about their customers. 5 days later, as I write this, not a thing has moved forward. Our campers still in Arlington, we have nothing but the clothes on our back, and they haven't reached out or returned our insurance company calla. 5 DAYS! USE ANYONE BESIDES THEM. 0 Stars. read more

They came out in the middle of the night to fix an extremely stuck spare on my van. It was much harder than I anticipated and I told them to forget it and I'd take it somewhere in the AM. They stayed another hour and got it unstuck without breaking any of the cheap plastic parts that held it in. THANKS!!! read more
