Cons: Very disorganized and too much office politics. When I worked here a few months ago they had very little hours for me. I was averaging 13 hours a week and if a family cancels then it would be less. The pay is low...about $14-$18. One cannot survive off of this job alone. Also, too much driving involved. Yes, it is part of the job but they do not match distance. For instance, if you lived in San Carlos you do not get matched with kids who live in San Carlos. You can be driving anywhere they want you to go. Ever wonder why they don't pay for your training until 3 months later? Obviously, because they just want to fill you up with the leftover hours that no one is available for so that you are left with a schedule that goes like this: Monday-Friday: Slightly more or less. 8:00 am - 9:15 am (client A) 10:00 am - 10:45 am (client B) 1:00 pm - 2:00pm (client C) Schedule is based on all day availability. Before your 3 months comes up you should have already quit by then, at least that is what they want you to do. They treat their clients the same way. I've heard families complain many times. Remember, you will be servicing the San Mateo region so many of the families are a bit stuck up and you are just another maid or butler to them.
