You can always find that quirky fun product on this market stall, and usually you'll find it's swamped with activity on the weekends. Popular with tourists and locals, you'll be glad you paid a visit. The items are not that expensive. It's not Gucci, but just great and convenient. Just a point to remember, it's located next to and quite near the hot-dog stand, and sometimes your goods have a smell of barbecue and smoke. (can be an acquired 'flavour' for your summer wardrobe). Great that it's so near to the transport, all the cash machines and Birmingham's New st and Moor st train stations.

Shop keeper don't give a damn unless your handing him money, and even then hes laughing because even he knows what your buying is abit rubbish. i brought a bag from this place once because i was carrying a light head and wanted to put it on my back, thought i got a good price until later when i really looked at the bag to find it had already started ripping!? Insane, no receipts just because your on wheels? i don't buy that.

This store is pretty big with a huge range of women's fashion, from casual, formal work attire to glam evening-wear. They have a wide selection of the "SP" range too, which stands for Special Purchase. This is only available in Outlet stores. The range here has been much more impressive than any other Next outlet I've been to. They have great bargains on children's clothing, which are usually very pricey. And even the men's shirts start from under a tenner. Towards the back of the store they have a "Home" section, which is usually very cluttered and messy. Even if there is something worth browsing, you're put off by the mess. But if you love quality and bargains in clothing - this is the place to shop!

The majority of floor space is given over to women's clothes, with small areas for kids and menswear. They also stock homewares and furniture. You can snap up a bargain sofa if you aren't picky and are in a position to take items away on the day. This is no frills shopping.

The Bullring Top Shop is fab -- it has two stories, and is really huge. The bottom half is women's clothing, shoes, and accessories. The top half is men and children. The men's section is a lot larger than other Top Shops I've been to, and has a great selection of ties, belts and shoes for men. I've bought my fashionable brother-in-law many an item from the Bullring Top Shop! There are five tills, and unlike other Top Shops, there are always staff on them, so you don't have to queue for hours. The staff at this TS isn't quite as helpful as they could be -- oh, forget it, they're downright dismissive, as if working in TS is something we all aspire to. I've never really found them as helpful as the one in The Fort or others in London I've been to. But hey, still a great selection of trendy, expensive, most up-to-date fashions you could easily find for 1/4 of the price in a charity shop!

While they've always stocked the trendier end of alternative and skater fashion, as the years have worn on their gear has grown more generic while the prices have continued to climb. There are racks and racks of shirts, trousers and shoes in this latest incarnation of the store, but you'll be lucky to find anything that doesn't have the Super Dry brand name plastered all over it. I don't know about you, but I prefer my alternative clothing to have a little less of a uniform feel to it. The clothing is pretty high quality and there are some really funky designs if you're willing to have a bit of a dig through, but at the prices Cult charge you're better off shopping elsewhere for your skater/surf wear.

The new store is average really. Split over two levels, I've always found the clothes quite close together and it quite difficult to manoeuvre around the store. The staff at this new store (whether it's the change of premises affecting their mood, or new staff) seem to be much ruder than before, and in my experience have been quite reluctant to assist! The range of clothes, however, is quite good, and the store is a decent size. A bigger shoe department might be beneficial. At the moment it quite lets the shop down.

The shop represents the classic and unique British look but with a contemporary feel. The shop looks classy and modern and suits the style of the items. However I have to admit they do have some nice clothes in here and I like to go when there's a sale on because the prices are more reasonable then.

Primark offers a wide range of clothing and accessories for every age; male and female! This location is really good with numerous floors of hidden gems. There are also cash tills all over the store, so if one queue is super long, just head to another level and find one that isn't. The customer service here is either really great or good. But I've never experienced anyone who didn't care about me or was rude. There are no toilets, but the Starbucks across the way might let you use theirs. Some hidden seating for The Spouse... but best to go alone or have them meet you towards the end of your shop. I tend to get carried away with all the cheap and discount deals and could be there for hours!
