Once for the…read moredouble decker party bus for our friends anniversary then the trolley for their organized wine tour. What I thought would be 2 very different experiences ended up being very similar. Both instantly they let you play your own music. Obviously party music for the party bus. They provide ice and cups and water. The wine tour also offered sodas. BYOB and they provide bottle openers so you can enjoy your goodies. The wine tour took us to 3 wineries in 4 hours. Tight time schedule because the farthest winery is 45 minutes from Toledo and that trolley doesn't really go speed limit. I'm glad it doesn't because my butt was hurting from the uncomfortable seats but after the first stop and some drinks you don't feel it much anymore. We stopped at Leisure time winery, majestic winery and american winery. Limited food options. Only male on the trolley was the driver but he was a sweetie pie and put up with all the female chatter. Now you would think a trolley full of women would be pretty mild but we were dancing down the aisle by the second stop. Now the party bus has same offerings but the seating was much more plush. Comfortable seating with 2 levels so plenty of space. The anniversary couple chose the stops and it was more of a bar hop til 2am. Check my pics. It was a good time but I took an uber home about 1. Only so much alcohol u can consume in a 5 hour period. Team Johnson is definitely a well organized company. They post their events on eventbrite. I would definitely do one of their tours again. He was honestly the best part of our wedding and we wish we had more events we could hire him for. Haha. We we're supposed to have an outside wedding and it unfortunately rained off and on. He set up outside and him and his equipment got rained on. He had to take apart his microphone to dry it and get it ready for our reception. We felt AWFUL about it -- but he was a trooper and didn't get mad! Just from our few meetings, he knew me and my now husband so well. He came in for the ceremony and said he had the perfect song to play for starting our walking down the aisle. Without him telling me what it was, I said play it. It happened to be an instrumental Star Wars song which was PERFECT for us! We had so many people who came up to us and said it was the coolest music they ever heard for a ceremony...especially the Star Wars song! On top of that he took care of us. The guy got me a drink when I needed one! Haha. He ran around frantic looking for me when they were calling my name and I didn't hear it. He was on top of EVERYTHING. More than we ever expected from him AND he played the best music for our reception. He meshed so well with us from minute one of meeting him. We get the pleasure of seeing him in September for my husband's cousin's wedding and we can't wait! I promise you. You will not go wrong with DJ Jay Herbert! Call. Him. Now.

Our wedding was pretty "custom" and he spent a lot of time consulting with us beforehand to get it right. He had the right equipment, the right amount of preparation, and he was ready on the fly in our reception venue (Wildwood Manor House, he had not DJ'd there before). I contacted them because of good reviews and an appealing website. I told them right at the beginning that it was for 40 people and I wanted desserts only. They sent me a price sheet (listing multiple items sold by the dozen). I called with a few more logistic questions and the rep told me "we don't sell just a (a = one in my world) dozen of anything," so when I sent in my order I ordered two dozen of multiple items. She never said I could only order ONE item for that small of a group. I got an email back saying "Thank you so much for your time, but I don't think that we will be able to accommodate this." More than a week has gone by since initial contact and now I'm back to square one to find a caterer in Toledo who can provide excellent desserts. Their food might be great - I can't attest to that. But word-of-mouth is a caterer's livelihood, and I simply cannot sit back and not make others aware of poor customer service.

I found Stargazer Photography with an online search engine, so I wanted to make sure I understood her pricing. The part that I felt insulted by with this company is she cancelled on me 11 hours before the shoot. I asked her if she did pictures outside or if she had any Easter back drops Because it is that time of year! She then replied "I have gone ahead and issued you a refund, I really get the feeling that you would be more satisfied with another photographer. You might actually be able to find one that is offering Easter sessions especially this time of year. " Just because I asked her this, she cancels on me? This is not a way to do business and I want to make sure anyone else who attempts to use this company is very careful. I would not recommend this business to anyone!
