We ordered and selected levels of sugar and ice and added calamari to the order. There were plenty of tables to wait and while we did the line backed out of the door. Our number was called fairly soon. The calamari was crispy and seasoned with a little kick of heat. The Boba was perfect. And our friend said we should try his popcorn chicken as it is an authentic Taiwanese street food. It was seasoned with Chinese Five Spice and very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Walking around Pelton Plaza, I saw that they had an i-Tea place here. I am a fan of theirs drinks. They have a fairly "vast drink menu" and snack menu. But, at this location, they have entrees here!?! Wow, that's impressive. A fairly crowded place for a weeknight. They have plenty of tables to sit at. I went today and it was pretty cute. The staff look hard working and are constantly making drinks. I always feel like it's somewhat busy here and they survived MochiNut so that's definitely a testament to their quality and service they provide. I will try the food next time to see if it's still bussin because i haven't ordered food here for a hot minute. My co-worker and I came here for lunch over the weekend. You have to pay for meter parking, which is a bit of a bummer. But it isn't expensive. The line was super long. Out the door! It's hard to find parking in this plaza sometimes, but it is located within a reasonable walking distance from the San Leandro BART station. They have tables inside the shop that you can sit at since there's not really any outdoor seating nearby. I thought my drink was pretty good, definitely quite fruity and as the order came out as 50% sweetness instead of my desired 30%, it was still pretty sweet.
