I had an appointment today at 11am. I call 10:45 because my televist link wasn't sent. That's when I found out that my appointment was canceled because they did not have the records. I also cannot get an appointment until June because Dr. Martin will be out doing surgeries all of May. How do you run a business like this? Omar made sure they were available same day, and phoned to make sure I had them. I just wish all the other doctor's offices had an Omar to deal with ;) If you are reading this wondering if you should go to see Dr Rudin about back or neck pain, just go. He is as good as the other reviewers say he is. Listening intently and going over your MRI with you explaining as he goes. Plus his staff are fantastic to work with, whether it is notes, billing or an examination. Back and neck pain are horrible to deal with, don't put up with it when modern medicine has answers!

Very painful. The moment i hit my whole back was sprung. I could barely move. I went home immediately put ice on it took Advil and a muscle relaxer. My husband made an appt. For two days later. It was 9:00a.m. I went right into xray snd found i had a compression fracture L1. I was suppose to go to France next day. The PA said i don't think you are going. I pleaded with him and said i am not disappointing my grandson. Jonathan what a great guy, he spoke with Dr.Spayde, came back in and said, did you eat anything, luckily I didn't. He said we are going to do a kyphoplasty and you should be able to go without pain. So immediately i was triage, everyone came in. I got an MRI. The nurse who is the most sensitive caring person, (wish i remembered his name) was the best IV person I ever had. And the anesthesiologist was so kind and reassuring. This is s little past four weeks now and i feel great. I would give ten stars. How it is so amazing that all these guys got it together to fit me into their schedule. I can't thank them enough. While being prepped for the procedure, Dr julie Tran showed up and told me she was my anesthesiologist. I explained to her that I had refused anesthesia, and she said she would hang around. I did not receive anesthetic during the procedure, yet she billed and got paid by Medicare for supposedly injecting 0.7 units of some unspecified anesthetic into me. I obtained the surgical records and found the Dr Assil had recorded no anesthesia was used during the procedure, and yet Dr Tran had included a page in the records where she claimed she did indeed inject me. I called Medicare and they pretty much ignored me despite my filing a report with them. So, I was either injected against my will or there is some fraud going on here. Which is it?

We came in before the morning shift change. The staff was prompt, the noise level of the night and day shifts were acceptable, the bedside manners of everyone and I literally mean everyone was excellent. As a healthcare worker myself, you can't help but notice the small details and compare/contrast with your own experiences. I may be a touch biased towards teaching hospitals, having started my career in an inpatient rehab hospital as well. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses that helped us! Not only was she transparent about billing information and expectations, but she was also personable and there were organic moments where we couldn't help but laugh together despite the event itself being stressful.
