    Naked Fries

Portion size was good, no indoor seating. It was 21 dollars for a burger and fry which is pretty crazy. The burger itself was good but nothing to write home about. The fries are nice and crispy. Service was a little slow but they did make all of it from scratch so no stars docked there! Everyone was super chill but yea i just hope they lower their prices.

    Mushroom Cheesesteak ($16)

Greasy but tasty. I am not a cheesesteak connoisseur whatsoever as this is probably the 2nd or 3rd cheesesteak I've consumed in my entire life. I went with the mushroom cheesesteak but also tried my friends' original, garlic, and chopped cheese flavors. My favorites definitely were the mushroom and garlic flavors. They were the most flavorful ones, as the original and chopped cheese were more reminiscent of a cheeseburger of sorts. It's a heavy sandwich but a tasty one at that. I just wish it was a bit less soggy or for them to use less oil. Small line when we went on a Sunday night, but they were fairly quick with making and taking orders. Minimal seating outside the shop and no seating inside. Such a strong an delicious smell that comes from the restaurant which really lures you in. Slightly on the pricier end as well.

    Spicy steak. 5/5!

Friendly folks -- while in line, guy asked if we'd been there before, and when we said no, he very enthusiastically pointed out the sandwiches they're known for. Storefront's tiny, they have plastic tables outside for dining. It was too cold to be eating outside when we went so we took ours to go. Onion rings: 5/5! So crunchy (even after a 10 min drive home) and perfectly battered. Highly recommend! Chopped cheese: I've never had a chopped cheese before and I'm not a burger fan, so I didn't think it was anything special. Spicy steak: 5/5. Loved this. I love most cheesesteaks tho. Bread's soft yet sturdy, great level of spicy, very saucy, great ratio of ingredients. There were mushrooms, even tho the menu doesn't say so. Maybe kitchen's mistake, who knows. My only complaint about the food is that it started feeling disturbingly greasy about halfway thru. I'd skip mayo next time, and maybe only eat half the sandwich, difficult as that'll be given how good it was. Definitely recommend and will return!!

I have been to their Berkeley location many years ago. This location just opened up less than a month ago. Abraham is super friendly and gave good recommendations. I ordered the cheese steak and waffle fries with chilli. The fries were piping hot and pretty good. It might be helpful to have a different container as the heat kinda makes the box "melt-ish". The chilli might help to be in a different container. The sandwich had really good bread. I would allow for the sauces to be a separate container as well. The 4 stars, is in comparison with other cheese steak shops.

Tried out this new cheesesteak place they also have beef and chicken burgers and popcorn chicken and tenders. I got the truffle oil cheesesteak and it was good. The tenders were not good but it's about the cheesesteak. Not much parking but students can walk/bike from Santa Clara University. Lots of boba shops next door to get a drink with your food. There's no inside seating so might be cold outside and not many tables. I think I would only come here in the summertime or order off DOORDASH but it was already expensive not sure if it would be even more in the app!

came here around 7pm, pretty busy, i saw the orders through their screen and it was packed lol. not A LOT of street parking but there is parking along the road if you go further down, there isn't a designated parking lot or anything so you have to park on the street. i got the garlic fries, and chopped cheese, both were super flavorful and honestly i used to get this a lot while i was in berkeley and im glad that they opened one in the south bay. this is a decent sandwich/burger spot and i highly recommend if you're craving something super good, they have tons of options. there are also outside seating, the place is fairly small so waiting inside would get crowded if you're trying to wait for your order to be finished. they call you through a receipt number but they don't have a speaker outside or anything so you would have to carefully listen.

    This was my Pepper Cheesesteak.

The sandwich was a pepper steak with sweet peppers and no cheese mayo or mustard. The sandwich was excellent with good bread. Was delicious. The place was very clean and welcoming.

So I drive past this location daily and wanted to check it out. Im so glad I did because it was definitely one of the tastiest burgers I've had in a very long time! My family was also very happy and enjoyed it all. It was a pickup order even though they have delivery available as well. I ordered 4 burgers in total, since the family all wanted burgers, not to mention the fact that they serve Beef Bacon. This was our order 1 California burger (with chicken) 1 Cheese burger (plain) 1 Bacon cheeseburger (with the works) and 1 bacon cheese burger (no sauce, no onion, no mayo, but added hot peppers) (my order) 2 Naked fries & drink combo The burgers, the fries were all very good and we really enjoyed it all. The price however is a little high, averaging between $12-$14 a burger. The only thing I would say I was disappointed in is that the seating and parking is limited. Regardless, I will however be going back in the future because it was really good. Check it out if you are in the area or just order online. They have many options on their menu. The overall best part is that they are Halal! Hard to find good Halal places but this one is really good!!

Amazing beyond words!!! Greeted by a friendly great staff fCute little shop that packs a huge and delicious flavor all around. From the delicious watermelon lemonade to the garlic fries just like being in a ball park, to the great tasting Truffle Burger and the signature Homey Garlic Wings (Not Photographed ) they were eaten too fast because they were so good. Nice little outdoor seating where you can watch your food being prepared with nothing to hide!!!! Definitely % recommended to all!!! An will be back

The food here is amazing! There was tons of meat and flavor! I got the mushroom cheesesteak and I would HIGHLY recommend it! I have been to other cheesesteak places and I would have to say this place is the BEST! The service was okay nothing special, but the food made up for it! Just the sandwich after tax cost $17.56. The inside of the restaurant is clean and organized which I was happy to see. There isn't any indoor seating, so keep that in mind when coming. There are a couple tables outside that you can use. I would highly recommend coming here and giving it a try!

The shop is a standard deli with a few tables inside. The service is fast and friendly, and the ingredients are fresh. The best part about these sandwiches, though, is that their sourdough has a crunchy exterior. The sourdough I've experienced at other sandwich locations tends to have a softer outside, which leads me to typically offering Dutch crunch instead. At West Coast Sourdough, though, their sourdough is just as crunchy as a Dutch crunch elsewhere, giving me both the texture and flavor profile I desire. If I'm looking for a basic deli sandwich on a quality sourdough roll, it's always safe to assume I'll be going here.

Whether you're ordering to-go or eating in, the food is always piping hot and consistently flavorful, never disappoints! Our go-to order is the clam chowder with a sourdough bread bowl, which is hands down the best. I recommend getting the bread bowl on the side so you can enjoy the bread and chowder together. The clam chowder is my favorite, perfectly creamy with generous chunks of clams and potatoes. The bread bowl is the highlight, fluffy and crispy at the same time. Yum!

However, as a sourdough lover going back to my youth, when I searched Yelp for a lunch spot last weekend when we were in the area, I was excited to see West Coast Sourdough as an option. Not only did we go there on Sunday afternoon; we also returned on Monday mid-day and brought Adored Grandson, too. The first time DH and I split the 8-inch hot pastrami sandwich with au jus on the side. Major yum! The cashier suggested adding their house sauce, which was a great addition to the flavors of the pastrami and sourdough. The au jus added another layer of meaty, salty flavor. I was very happy with that choice. DH also had a cup of clam chowder, and I ordered a chocolate chip cookie. We were happy campers. As I was looking around the interior space, I noticed several seasonal items. One was a lobster roll with bacon sandwich. How did I miss that at the outset? Lobster roll as a fast casual sandwich shop? Hmm! That was the reason that we went back the next day, actually. I raved about the place to AG, who wasn't raised steeped in sourdough flavor goodness, so wasn't as stoked as I was. Still, he really enjoyed his buffalo chicken sandwich. DH and I each ordered our own 6-inch lobster roll sandwich on our return visit. That is the only size that they offer for that special sando. Their take included lots of lobster, plus some crunchy celery and light mayo over tomato and lettuce, so it was served cold. That was fine, but the bacon could have benefited from a warm up. Otherwise, it was delicious. Because it was rich, probably DH and I could have split one sandwich and just ordered something else on the side. I was definitely full on the drive home. The interior of this location is cheerful, with oversized collages of images of California destinations and fresh food items on the feature wall. The team of sandwich artists kept busy with their orders not only for in-house guests, but also take-out orders. We didn't feel rushed to give up our table. We almost bought a take-and-bake large sourdough bread to bring home, but they got busy and we had to head out. Nice to know they offer that option for a reasonable price. Wish we had this expanding chain in Ventura County!

We tried the lobster bisque for fun and it was just glorified tomato soup. Overall the restaurant was clean but the food was garbage; don't get me started on the fake "pesto" sauce, pesto is green!! Why was it white with barely green flakes. Huge disappointment for 45$ would rather have bought a top shelf eighth of weed and gone hungry.

I was expecting it to be super salty, heavy, and drenched in sauce, but it was actually really balanced and refreshing. The pork was flavorful without being overpowering, and I could distinctly taste the water chestnuts and veggies mixed in, which gave it a nice texture and freshness. It felt comforting without making me feel weighed down. The cold cut combo bahn mi here is seriously bomb. I also really liked the bread ratio--the baguette was the perfect size and didn't overpower the fillings. Some places think bigger bread is better, but it ends up taking away from the inside and makes the sandwich hard to bite into. Here, everything felt balanced, so you actually get the perfect mix of bread, meats, pickled veggies, and sauce in every bite. The cured meats were flavorful without being hella salty too, which made the whole sandwich even better. Def need to come back to try some of their desserts near the middle of the line's counter and in that fridge near the register! _______________________________________________________ --- S E R V I C E --- Service was great too. It was a small moment, but I appreciated how respectful and composed they were while juggling everything. _______________________________________________________ --- A M B I A N C E -- To-go vibes for sure!
