The materials and the crew arrived when promised and installation started exactly when scheduled. With old houses there was more work needed than originally anticipated, but the installation crew tackled the job and really went the extra mile to make sure the installation was done properly. Even though the install took longer than anticipated, the final price tracked the estimate exactly. We couldn't be happier with the work. three months after the install, it's as solid as we could have hoped for. We will definitely use Home Renew in the future.

During the initial visit to make his sales pitch, Brent Webb brought one style of siding and several color choices. Brent chose a color and style then insisted I go with what he selected for me. I did not like what he selected, so we actually argued over the color and style. The only way I got him to agree was by telling him, "These are the colors and the style I want; if you can't handle that, take your stuff and leave." He relented. I should have tossed him out of my house right then. My main reason for getting siding was that the original siding had been recalled because it just rots and falls off the wall. So I wanted that removed. Clearly, it says on the invoice, "Remove Existing Siding". On the first date it was to be installed, I was told they had gone to the wrong house when they measured everything, and after measuring my house, they needed more material. So that delayed everything by about a month. The night before installation, I called Brent to make sure they were going to have a dumpster dropped off for all the debris. He said, "They will just use their trailer." Installation day arrives, the crew shows up and starts work. After a little bit, I go out to check on them and find that they are not removing the old siding, and the crewmen say they were not told to do so. Also, they were putting the colors in the wrong place. Turns out they had no invoice and no instructions on where to install the different colors/styles. The crewman called Brent. I spoke to him, telling him I wanted the old siding removed and the color scheme to be as I wanted it to be. Regarding removing the old siding, Brent said, "We are not doing that!" and that "to fix our error with the colors, you will have to pay more." And they did charge me $900 to fix the error their own guys made. After installation, I found that more than half of the siding does not have the foam insulating backing that was supposed to be installed. Also, some of the siding is curling up, but I can't call them because they will either ignore me or just do a lousy job and charge me more money to fix it when it should be covered under warranty. Brent Webb is a lying piece of garbage and should never be trusted at all. Hone Renew completely ripped me off for about $9000.

Both of those jobs were perfection, and they flat crushed their own standard when they returned in June. We recently moved to a smaller home in need of new windows, and of course we called M. Rhodes. They always have been competitively priced within the market, but post-Covid we decided to entertain three bids. The first, a national company, stood us up and never contacted us after. The second, a statewide firm whose jingle you can sing in the shower, bid a full $10,000 over Rhodes. So with pricing covered, the next important consideration is who will be in your home. Bob Rhodes and his daughter Tara, along with Jack, (a 40-year employee), perform the measurements themselves. These people are keepers-trustworthy, friendly, genuine, delightful people who by now feel like old friends. When your windows are produced - ours took approximately one month, about what Bob predicted - installation begins. Married couple Brad and Amber installed ours, and from the moment they arrived for the two-day project, they seemed like family. They cleaned up meticulously as they worked, so when they departed, all we had to do was enjoy the finished product. They were just the best; they were so thoughtful, courteous and respectful, and we were lonesome for them all when they were gone. We felt we made friends for life. Finally, about the product: the new windows are just amazing. They seal the house so effectively that we have raised the thermostat two degrees! Also, the outside noise now stays outside! It is so difficult to hear screaming weed eaters and sirens. Lawn mowers drone on practically without our notice, and no longer can we depend on the garbage truck for Tuesday wakeup call. The entire house is much quieter. So I suppose this might sound a bit like a commercial, but facts are facts-you can't beat M. Rhodes Company for the product, its people or the cost. When the time came to buy replacement windows, my husband and I went on the hunt for quality that wouldn't break the bank coupled with experienced installation and excellent customer service provided by a long-established company. (Yeah... right, lady. Would you like a herd of iridescent unicorns thrown in for good measure?) Being well-versed in exercising due diligence, retired and patient, we had plenty of time for the search. We started by asking friends and relatives who they had used; and, as you can imagine, the responses were all over the board. We got quotes from two of the Big Names, and requested a quote from one of the most aggressive advertisers and got no response from them whatsoever... but it's just as well. Their quote would probably have been near or higher than the others. Then we went to dinner at the brother- and sister-in-law's house... and there they were: the windows and patio doors we'd been wanting forever complete with a glowing recommendation for both experience, service, and quality. We wasted no time getting in touch with M. Rhodes Co. LLC and got a quote - it wasn't the cheapest. We didn't want the cheapest; and it wasn't the most expensive. We sure didn't want that... we had been there and done that in our last house when we were young and foolish. M. Rhodes Co., owned and managed by Bob Rhodes and his daughter, Tara, has been in business almost forever. It was started by Bob's father 83 years ago. Bob and Tara do the quoting and he's known his installers - two brothers - since they were children. They're in their mid-40s now. They specialize in Simonton products - excellent construction and quality at a fair price. The only hiccup in the entire process was the supply chain issue caused by the pandemic. We had to wait a few weeks longer than 'normal'... but let me tell you: Our patience was rewarded. It was well worth the wait. The windows and patio doors came in. Bob called immediately and we scheduled the door installation for the end of that week with the windows to follow the following Monday - today. The brothers showed up at the promised time and went to work. Both patio doors were installed and functioning perfectly by 12:30pm. One of us had a prior commitment, so work commenced this morning at the appointed time and before we knew it, we had three fixed windows, a huge picture window, and two standard windows done and dusted. All the debris was packed up and carried off and when they left, there wasn't a spot on the glass, the frames, the sills... nowhere. So... if the above was TLDR (too long, didn't read) for you... here's the bottom line: M. Rhodes Co. LLC, is professional, provides excellent customer service, quality products, experienced installation, 10-Star performance, a fair price that only changed by a little bit due to some rot under one of our sills, an honest presentation, and genuine appreciation for our business. Give them a call. You'll save - literally - thousands of dollars; and you'll get windows and doors that make your home quieter (I can't believe how much these have cut down the traffic noise!) and more secure. You'll get communication. Real Customer Service. Experience. Quality. Fair pricing. An honest deal... and they're an Oklahoma company to boot! When they give you their word, they keep it.
