This downgrade came at the outrageous price of over $470 for two nights. When I raised this issue with the staff, no meaningful resolution was offered. I even requested a partial refund for the difference, but the manager refused to budge. Instead of taking responsibility, they shifted the blame onto Booking.com. What's worse is that I'm not alone in this experience. Another review from the past month on google.com describes the exact same issue, proving this is a recurring problem. The property continues to take full payment for these misrepresented bookings without addressing the complaints. I will be disputing the full charge if Booking.com doesn't resolve this. Beyond the booking issues, the stay itself was terrible. The street noise was constant, and workers loitered right outside our door at almost all hours, making it impossible to sleep. This was by far the worst booking of our entire trip through Germany. This property feels like a scam, and I strongly recommend staying elsewhere. There are plenty of other options in the same area that we saw during our trip--don't waste your money here.

My room had a twin bed, two night stands, lamps, large desk, bench, private bar and amour. The internet (good speed) and breakfast were included. The restaurant is nice and the food tastes very fresh. Locals came in to eat as well. On one night, I enjoyed the French onion soup, pasta with truffle sauce and then a coffee.
