Stayed in this hotel for our weekend trip to Lyon
-Price: Slightly higher than Ibis budget, but still very affordable
-Place: Very close to the train station, the tram connection to the airport Rhône Express is right out the doorstep. Very convenient to public transportation, but not where the attractions/sightseeing locations are - which is fine with us since we got ourselves a 48-hour ticket with the metro.
-Facility: No safe/deposit box in the room, so it's rather risky to leave something valuable, but we took the risk and it was alright. No mini bar either, but which hotels (apart from the luxury ones) have these days?
-Room: Basic but clean, but that's all that we need these days. No bathtub but we had an excellent shower with good water pressure. No toiletries apart from those squeezy-tubes attached to the wall, but then again, this is not a luxury hotel so we didn't expect much. No kettle in the room, but there is down by the reception so you could make coffee/tea downstairs to bring upstairs.
Breakfast: Sufficient. No warm food, but more like a self-service station. There are bread and pastries, toaster, and juicer to make your own freshly-pressed oranges and egg boiler
All in all, it's a good hotel in terms of price and location when you have a certain budget. I would
definitely stay here again since I don't see the point of splurging money for unnecessary luxury. read more
