After living here since 1986, I lost my green card 4 years ago because I let my driver's license to expire. Immigration said I had to be deported. I lost everything. I lost my bakery business and could not work. My daughters could no longer receive scholarships and financial aid to university. I seriously thought about going back to my country, but my family was born and raised here. I spent a lot of money with another attorney who was unable to help me before being represented by Michael Mendez at Colombo & Hurd. He told me it was a very difficult case, but little by little started working on it. He and his staff called right away whenever they needed anything for immigration. They prepared me for going to court. And the case went much faster than I thought it would. Now I have my green card back. I got my work permit two months ago and I am working. My daughters also now have applied successfully for scholarships. I'm starting over, but I have a life again.

    I'm currently going through the EB2 process under the execptional ability category. It's been like…read morepulling teeth to even get a response from my lawyer...I waited a week to simply be told here's the other information we require; however, they didn't even send me the letters of support to obtain signatures for despite having sent them all the completed questionnaires two weeks prior. This is a high premium for very poor service, it's not a good experience. Don't fall for the ads on Instagram either...I would rate this very poor value for the dollars paid.
