It is quite famous and kind of pricey but... The actual place did not really knock me over as in, it was very special but I guess for every women a must see. I already saw the husbands and boyfriends waiting outside as the ladies went to buy things. They had many other brands in a store next door not just Skultuna. There was for example HAY, Sagaform, Orrefors etc. (+ corner with discounts) and in the store where they sell Skultuna there was a corner where you could get 40-50% off. I was not quite impressed but now I saw it and Skultuna ticked off the list. PS: There is also a iittala outlet around the corner as well as possibilities to eat nearby.

They offer cheese stick sampling trays as a fun way to test out their offerings. They have a few baked goods and also offer sandwiches to enjoy while looking out over the field and grazing cows. A great place to bring visitors to really give them a feel for the idyllic Swedish countryside!

This address popped up in a Google search and my Swedish husband was like "huh". He couldn't fathom what thrift store would be in this sort of industrial area. Advice: Find your way there and don't be surprised if you're still there an hour later. This store just opened not long before our visit in June 2017. The owner, a super nice and helpful fella, gave us a tour of the place which has many rooms which are coordinated by era. Interested in mid-century modern, for example? He has a room full of that! He identified and gave us some history about some really cool items in his store including some projects that he's working on. A major keyword for this store is quality. He has nice stuff. I really enjoyed learning some Swedish history here as I perused the various rooms in his store. My guess is he's going to do really well in this endeavor. He's creating a new niche in the thrift store category. Go check him out and pass the word.

A small, but decent size inside market. Lots of great places to buy fresh ingredients for whatever…read moreis on the menu for the day. There are lots of great little food stalls to eat at as well. I think farmer's markets are a great place to get a feel of what the locals eat on a day to day basis. Take a break and try out one or 3 of the food stalls inside, you will be pleasantly surprised, if not enjoy a glass of wine at least.
