There are two sewing machines right in the store, and everything is made in Sweden. The designs are delightful and the fabrics are workmanship are quality. Also, I was pleasantly surprised at the prices! The dollar is strong right now and these items were much less than I thought they would be. Emmaus is by far my number-one second-hand shopping stop in Stockholm. And that's not a statement…read moreto be taken lightly - I live on Södermalm, home of plenty of vintage and second-hand shops, and I visit them regularly. I am a total second-hand addict. Choose something with massive shoulder pads, call it vintage, and triple the price? No thanks. I prefer real second-hand - it's a treasure hunt of good deals. And Emmaus is the best! Why? For one, their selection is always changing. It's close to my work so sometimes I go there multiple days in a row and always see new things. It's also affordable. If you're shopping second hand then you don't want to end up paying a lot. Some shops on Södermalm, like Stadsmission by Nytorget, jack up the prices to ridiculous levels, but Emmaus has second-hand prices as they should be. You can easily get a great new dress for anything from 50 to 100 SEK - and sometimes they have sales where all dresses (for instance) are half off! The staff here do know their brands, so if you find something by a designer then it will typically reflect that in the price. But it will still be a great bargain! People are friendly here, and you can put an item on layaway for a day. Sometimes they even have 'parties' during the summer where they offer free snacks and have a DJ, which makes for a fun and unique thrifting experience. I always end up finding something here - a dress, a book I've been meaning to read, a gorgeous set of vintage tea cups, the Swedish game kubb, a new hat, beautiful t-strap heels. Even with a REA sign on display (which literally stands for "realizing assets" in Sweden), the prices still feel a bit steep. I might just be comparing it to Budapest or Paris, where affordable boutiques are everywhere.Then again, this is the Nordic region. They are very strict about keeping out cheap mass-productions or low-quality goods from third-party countries. Unlike some "Made in Italy" labels that actually rely on exploited cheap labor, Sweden focuses on the real deal. I absolutely love the minimalism of Swedish chic. If you are in Stockholm, SoFo is definitely a standout spot! I would give it a 4 out of 5 stars, even though I didn't end up buying anything. Södermalm is truly the place to be if you want to avoid the usual tourist crowds. They are Swedes, so if you say "Hej Hej," the service is going to be awesome. Having been around Scandinavians ( Americans) all my life, the culture is completely familiar to me. Yes, you get a straight face instead of bubbly, cheap small talk, but there is a genuine, warm welcome underneath. Fake small talk just doesn't exist in their service industry.

The kebabs had a different taste with the seasoning used but meats were moist and tender. Reasonable prices and good tasting food.

I am fine to pay extra when shopping in a nice food hall but this place lacks atmosphere, character and also offers nothing special. The only really good place here is the small Systembolaget store, they still have the old style set-up where you have to go the counter and tell them what you want and then they bring it to you. This is perhaps not in general preferred compared to browsing yourself but since they are knowledgeable here I do enjoy chatting a bit about wine with them. This food hall is also a mix of food hall and shopping mall as there are some 'normal' shops as well so there is the English Shop, a pharmacy, a optician and a few other stores but that just adds to the slightly confusing and unorganized feel of the place. I prefer going elsewhere.
