Rolled ice cream is a work of art and this place knows how to make it! Topped with all kinds of lovely toppings, this is a delicious treat and enough for two to share in my opinion. We ordered the Brownie Boy; vanilla ice cream with bits of brownie chopped into it, flattened and rolled to perfection. Topped with whipped cream, strawberries, chocolate syrup, an Oreo and a little animal cracker! The place has some seating inside and a few tables on the outside. Such a splendid treat! I love that you can choose a dairy-free milk tea option, as well as the level of sweetness. I got a jasmine green milk tea with almond milk, less sweet, with lychee. It was so refreshing and gently sweet! I also shared a strawberry #1 rolled ice cream with my mum. Super sweet with excellent, careful presentation and thinly sliced strawberries/strawberry syrup on top. Would have preferred more strawberries and fruity pebbles, but def can't complain. Additionally, this place has many more options than the boba tea place up Cottman Ave near the Blvd, and is more reasonably priced. I recently came to this establishment with some of my girlfriends. The ice cream was good, and they had a wide selection. However, the tables inside the shop were extremely sticky and had some sort of dry substance on them. The real problem came when I found a beard hair in my ice cream. I wanted to vomit, but when I ran to the bathroom, it was locked with an "employees only" sign. When my friend asked the cashier to open it because it was an emergency (unknowingly as to what happened), he said no. After about 5 minutes, I calmed down and showed the man the hair. I requested a refund, and he was reluctant. The man wanted to give me a new ice cream, but by then, I had already lost my appetite. This is not a place I would take your family; it is a very negative space. The men rolling the ice cream were cussing up a storm. Not family-friendly, not recommended. Rode past this place on a couple of occasions and finally stopped in today as I happened to be craving something cold. I decided to try the Mango Tango rolled ice cream and WOW everything about it was delicious from the ice cream to the mango and mochi pieces. I will say it was packed but they move pretty fast in there, and I came in on a Friday night before close. The parking is a little difficult on the street but worth it if you have the time. Ice Moon is a great little ice cream place in Mayfair. It's very fresh and tasty. I got the Strawberry Banana with fresh strawberries and bananas and it was great. I love that they make it right in front of you (inside is closed right now due to COVID), but it's all freshly made, the ingredients are all mixed in right there and rolled up. The only thing that sucks is the location because it's all street parking and there is no parking right in front of the place. Although we are still dealing with the COVID-19 Pandemic I was looking for ice-cream late in the evening. We googled and found Ice Moon. The outside of the parlor had outdoor seating 3tables setup. They have several varieties of what I call rolled ice cream neatly packaged. I ordered what I believe was called monkey business. The proprietor explained to me how the base is the same for all the options and that it is the add-ins that make each "sundae" unique. The tailored made to order approach makes it necessary to have sufficient time. For 2 ice creams it took about 10- 15 minutes from beginning to end. We tried the cookies and cream option along with the morning latte. Both were delicious and worth every penny. The former is sweeter with several toppings that complement one another. I was fearful that this style of ice cream may taste freezer burnt, so I've been avoiding it for some time now. Boy was I wrong!!! It's great! They are fairly quick with their orders, but I do wish their menu had more of a variety, and I wish they had different sizes. I think the only thing I liked about this place was that the ice cream isn't that sweet. Other than that, their seating is uncomfortable with very little spacing between it.
