What a great place!! Casey the RN is amazing and I definitely recommend her for IV therapy. As a retired RN myself, I was very impressed by her knowledge, background and professionalism. She has many years of experience with patients, and is great at making sure her clients are comfortable and safe. I'm a hard stick, but it didn't phase Casey. I've been to other wellness centers with nurses who can't put in an IV and lack confidence. For someone who is nervous about needles, Casey is the one for you. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I visited last week and did cryotherapy, as well as normatec on my hips. I have excruciating lower back pain and both of these treatments are designed to help with inflammation and relief from muscle spasm and tightness. I felt some relief after just one session! What can I say about Ice Recovery and Wellness?!?! There is so much to say from the product to the owner to the people working there and all are superlative. I went to Ice, because I was battling a monthly bout with lower back pain and sciatica for about 4 months. I did regular appointments with stretching, chiropractor visits, massage and other treatments. Pain was reduced but still very present, and for an avid golfing and basketball player this was a concern. I was told by a friend to give Troy and Ice a call and see if it was a good treatment alternative for me. From the moment I walked into the office, it was a different vibe in a great way. I saw 15 people in the office all getting different treatments, for different reasons, and all were different ages. It was a very friendly and family type environment in the office as well. Troy and his co-workers knew everyone's name and what they were in the office for, some for recovery and some for prevention. 4 big screen TVs on sports and news, big comfortable reclining chairs, music and cold water if needed. I was sold on the whole experience regardless of the results. But the results speak for themself, I have now been going regularly for over a year and I have only had 1 day of a flareup in that 13 months of going to Ice for wellness. First of all I trusted this place and the owner Troy because I was referred by my kids friends and school. Office staff was nice. I took out flex spending for the year to cover treatment for my kid but towards the end of the year I had to cancel and spoke with Troy because it was really out of my way and it was expensive my kid used services less than 10 times in a year. The following year I had put $1000 aside in my flex spending for medical purposes for my kid . Toward the end of the year when I needed to use that money and also because that was the time frame that my kid could have that medical procedure done o came to find out that Ice Recovery had used up all my benefits because they had me still on monthly debiting from my flex spending account . When I contacted the owner he gave me some run around stuff and was only willing to give me $298 back but really but why for services that were never rendered. So basically I spent like $2000 or so for less than 10 visits . Wow now I have to postpone my kids medical procedure because I cannot afford it . I am currently filing a grievance with my flex spending company against this business for fraudulent usage of funds for services not rendered so that I can get at least my $1000 back that they took. So sad because he seemed nice until it wasn't and it's also sad because I know a bunch of people that go here and after that my kids HS team went here prior to HS games and I kept my kid home from going because I didn't want any assumptions that we were ok with what happened and that by my kid going that it's services he's giving. read more
