There were large televisions showing Sports Center which showed the highlights of various soccer games which kept my kids entertained while we waited for the food. The music playing was geared toward us, the adults--awesome 90s music which was food for the soul! When the food came out, we were pleased! This is a very family-friendly place, they have a separate area for the kids to play and dine in. The staff was super welcoming, and despite my limited Portuguese, I was able to communicate mostly in Spanish. Douglas was my server, and he was awesome. He really went out of his way to explain everything on the menu and answered all of my questions. I ordered the traditional lime Caipirinha along with the fried chicken salad. The salad was huge, but I was a bit surprised that the chicken was just chicken nuggets. I got a small side of fried yuca that was really good. For dessert, I went with the fried churros since they made them in house. The churros were delicious, definitely recommend! They have an extensive menu with meats and seafood options. If I had more time in this city, I would return and try out more of the menu. The prices were reasonable considering this is a tourist area.

A rare find outside of the main cities of Brazil. The waiter, Paulo, was great. Very attentive, enthusiastic and happy to tell us all about the restaurant. Of course, the food was also delicious. We're vegetarian but eat vegan often and were blown away by the taste and quality of the cooking - lots of options for meat eaters and vegans alike. Not to mention a great wine selection. A few of the employees speak English, but the bottles and tap list are easy to parse even if they don't happen to be around. Almost all the taps feature Brazilian craft beers, and they are very well curated. I tried IPAs, stouts, pilsners, and pale ales from breweries all over the country, and honestly didn't drink a single bad beer. Bottles abound as well, with a solid variety and something to appease every beer drinker. I enjoyed being able to take a recommended (cold) bottle back up to my room for a nightcap. Prices are on par with other Brazilian craft beer joints I visited. You can also order food from the burger restaurant they're connected to. The burgers are really quite solid, and together you get a very enjoyable dinner-and-drinks combination.
