In my personal opinion, one of the best ramen spots. Love the flavors, great spot for a little date or to catch up with a friend. It is a small spot, the service is good. Love the krab salad, everything is so good

This is a really good place. If you want some authentic tasting Ramen, I got their Ichimi Ramen with their housemaid noodles. It was as a creamy flavorful broth topped with mushrooms, scallions, and the best flavored egg. Everything tasted fresh. The service was pretty quick and it is a tiny place so it gets packed pretty quickly. The pork gyoza were soft and tender, and had a great savory flavor. They have a variety of sake's to choose from, and the inside is dimly lit for a nice intimate feel .

I came here to eat ramen as an article by the door indicated this was one of the best ramen in the city. I was seated as soon as I walked in. I ordered the shrimp gyozas and spicy miso ramen. The food was done fairly quickly. The shrimp gyozas were delicious. The spicy miso ramen was also very tasty. I'm not sure if it was the best in the city but definitely worth coming in for. The service was great and the ambiance was good. I would definitely return to try other items on the menu when I'm in the area.

Very good Ramen place in Coral Gables that specializes in Tonkotsu (Japanese style) Ramen - 20-hour pork bone broth with fresh noodles, chashu, soft-boiled egg, and nori. All the variations are really tasty! It's become our "go to" for Ramen. (Although they have other Asian dishes - Rice, Bao Buns, Gyoza, etc...). I went with my kids and they really liked their Curry Ramen. This time I had the "Black Dragon" Ramen (made with Black Garlic). If you love garlic dishes, this one's for you! Flavorful but not overpowering. The last time I had the Spicy Miso Ramen and that was great too. Good selection of craft beers and wines. Portion sizes are good so we did not have dessert. Great meal. I would recommend.

It always sucks walking into a restaurant where the workers are more lost the customers walking in. Everyone was doing everything yet absolutely nothing at the same time. My server was not focused at all when taking more order. Let alone, it took some time getting a server to take my order in the first place and when I say this place is tiny, I mean it. One skilled server can handle the entire restaurant with a host and maybe a couple of food runners. The ramen I ordered was very disappointing. I know there's a first for everything but I never thought I'd ever have to ask for salt because of ramen being BLAND. It sounds almost diabolical. Never once has that ever happened to me. Outside of the servers being friendly and nice, it's not worth the revisit. There are so many much better ramen spots to go to than this spot. For sure.

Very solid ramen restaurant. They have set ramen, build-your-own ramen, rice bowls, and a LARGE variety of appetizers. Located on a side street off the Miracle Mile area of Coral Gables in Miami. The ramen was good and doesn't come overstuffed with too much extras, which is how I like it. The broth is the main draw for ramen and theirs was good. I prefer the home made thin noodle over the egg noodle when it comes to ramen. Egg noddles are better for Chinese style noodle soup. Moreover, I thought the gyoza and spicy fried chicken (like karage) were the real winning dishes. Both were really good. I've been here a couple times now. Both were memorable so that's a good sign.

Service was steady, food was fast and amazing, honestly a 10/10 place. Park somewhere and just walk, it's a gem honestly. Recommend to all ages.

Amazing food & amazing service -even well into the night! We enjoyed the pork belly bao buns, Gyoza, and I tried the spicy miso pork Ramen with the House made noodles. Absolutely delicious! Washed it all down with some codeo beer. can't wait to return, such a neat and modern spot!

Wow wow. I love this place, and I'm not even a fan of ramen. The duck wings are great. It's so well seasoned. The spiciness is just right, it has a nice kick without making you cough up and down. Spicy miso and ichimi ramen both have nice broth. We opted for thin noodles and pork. Nothing to complain about. I'm happy with my meal.

In a place known for its Latin American cuisine we somehow found a gem in Ichimi, a ramen spot located in the posh Coral Gables neighborhood. The atmosphere feels very intimate and the service is quick and good. We ordered the scallion pancakes and pork gyoza as openers. They arrived quickly and warmly but their flavor was a bit lacking. The scallion pancakes in particular came with hoisin on it which wasn't bad but it did take away from the natural scallion flavor a bit. They were also served with a side of cream cheese which I found a bit odd. As for the gyoza it was soft and lacked a bit of flavor but wasn't necessarily bad, just a bit underwhelming. Moving onto the main dishes, our party ordered a number of dishes but we personally had the soul and black dragon ramens. The soul ramen was a light and buttery tonkotsu ramen with tender noodles that brought the whole dish together; it was very good. The black dragon ramen was also very good, albeit very very garlic. It has a deep flavor that feels bold so if that's not your thing then choose something else. An important thing to note is that these bowls were not only on the cheaper side but they were also very generous with their toppings which really is something we highly value. It is very rare to find a place that will give you a full egg and they did here. Not to mention the ramen came out very fast and everyone liked their ramen, and that's big praise from a family who eats a LOT of ramen. Ichimi was extremely impressive. From its quaint, unassuming atmosphere to its flavorful broth and generous toppings. We highly recommend stopping by here if you're in the Coral Gables area or Miami for that matter. Or if you are as equally obsessed with noodles as we are.

Came to this ramen place and was pleasantly surprised. The ramen broth was flavorful and the noodles were plentiful and had good texture. I had my doubts when I could choose wonton as my meat, but it was good. Not a totally traditional ramen place (they had scallion pancakes) but it sure hit the spot.

Visiting Miami from the west coast and had a craving for a hearty bowl of soup. Checked out this place as it had raving reviews. Small space but luckily we were seated right away! The noodles were bouncy, broth was rich, and not too salty. My only complaint was I like my chasu to be tender, and this one was more chewy. It was nice that they gave you 3 big pieces though. Not comparable to ramen back home, but if you're in Miami wanting a quick fix, it'll get the job done for sure!

Been wanting to try this spot for a while, the wait was a bit long to. E seated, but afterwards it was nice, the food was good ordered the takoyaki appetizer and black garlic tonkotsu killed the takoyaki but was soo full to finish the ramen, the ramen was almost perfect, wish it was hotter in temperature, the place was packed for the lunch service, its a quaint little ramen shop. Probably need to co.e bavk to try other dishes.

Does the ramen comes with noodles?

Ramen without noodles is just soup, so yeah it always does 😉

    Is Ichimi currently taking reservations?

No, they're not. I called on Saturday with the same question. You can write your name on a list if there are no tables available.

Does this restaurant have vegan options (no dairy, egg, or meat)? Do they have any noodles besides ramen, like udon or rice noodles that do not contain eggs?

Yes they do have vegan options etc.garden ramen. For ramen they have two options either have egg or not.

It is my understanding that these are used at yakitori shops around the world. Anyhow, when I saw that Dojo Izakaya used this grill, I had to check them out. The restaurant is pretty modern and the service is top notch. I got a vibe of a x star Michelin restaurant, but fortunately/unfortunately it is not. I ordered the fried chicken, grilled gyozas, and a grilled branzino. The chicken was really good, with excellent flavors. The grilled items had a special grilled flavor, more intense but also more delicate than regular smoked foods. It is a nice alternative to regular charcoal grills that many places use, as well as smokers at smoked meat restaurants. I appreciate the offerings, the variety, good flavors, etc. The menu changes weekly or monthly, so this is an active menu that offers diversity. If the restaurant wants to be a fine dining restaurant, I can see them going in that direction. Otherwise, they could stay as they are and continue using the unique grill flavors.
