Loose cannon. Uses threats, intimidation, and crazy irrational behavior. Walked into my business in 2022 and tore MY posters off the doors. I told him to leave and he threatened to run me over with his motorcycle. Ran into him at Zamzow's today and he scared the poor cashier as he jumped ahead of me, a paying customer, in order to drop off promo junk. Bo Grosboll, the owner of Idaho Poster Distribution, is extremely rude and unprofessional and we DO NOT recommend that Treasure Valley businesses use his services. The Discovery Center of Idaho has worked with him for years, and we've found great value in his service, but we've had to make the difficult business decision not to work with him any further due to his recent unprofessionalism and harassment of our staff. We let him know that we wanted to distribute posters for one of our highly popular events, then we changed our mind and decided to test a different marketing strategy using digital social media ads because we could better track and analyze their impact than a physical poster. We told him that his services were not needed for this event, but we will keep him in mind for future use. About a month later, Bo sent our Marketing Manager an incredibly negative and hateful message bashing our existing promotions with words like "Your poster game is looking extra weak! Whoever you have doing it is struggling! I guess that's what you guys get for stabbing me in the back, huh?!". He also said our Marketing Manager was a "flip-flopping fool" and said "I like DCI, but I don't like YOU! I've never had any problems with the people before you got your job." These hateful and negative messages are not appropriate, professional, or warranted, and we don't want other businesses to endure the same experience. How is this company still in business? The owner hung up on me as I was asking a question about pricing for poster distribution for an event at the nonprofit I work for. They seem to have a monopoly and keep businesses under contract so that individual nonprofits cannot hang posters in certain businesses, coffee shops, and restaurants, if they are not working with IPD. What would happen if EVERYONE in Boise stopped being bullied by this Poster Dictator? Would more people know about our events? I know other organizations have stopped printing and posting posters all together because working with Idaho Poster Distribution is too difficult, too expensive, and the owner is too rude. read more

I can't say much for the actual poster business but the man (who declared himself as the owner) was driving behind me. I was going 62 in a 60 on the connector in Boise. I saw him raising his arms and yelling in my rearview mirror and he got even closer to my bumper. I took the Chinden exit and slowed to 35 per the speed limit and he got even closer and chose to flip me off. He turned so I chose to follow him and ask him what his problem was with me following the speed limit. He chose some expletive words and informed me that he owned the business as the logo was on the side of the truck he was driving. Not sure I would care to do business with anyone who has such poor character. read more

Guy was speeding up capital weaving through traffic almost hitting other cars I called to make a complaint the guy said "I don't care I own the company" and hung up on me. Super professional. read more

On 2/2/2018 I encountered an Incredibly rude driver who was speeding through the parking lot of a local business complex. I exclaimed he should slow down and when he parked he attempted to make a threatening gesture. This business complex has a child care center, learning center, and many walk in retail businesses. No excuse for driving irresponsibly. After he was at his first delivery spot I pulled behind where he had parked to get a photo for my records. Upon seeing this the angry man approached me flipping me off telling me to "get a picture of this" while going on a profanity bases tirade. I try not to judge a business off of the actions of one person, but this was unbelievable. read more

I worked for this company for a few weeks during the summer a couple years ago. I was a 17 year old kid looking to make some money before leaving for college. My job was to ride around with the owner all day and put posters up at the businesses that he had partnerships with. In the very short time that I worked for him, the owner made several inappropriate comments about my body and shared some far too personal details about his life. There were a few times where I felt unsafe being alone with him. He also referred to himself as a "pervert." He shared some information about legal troubles he was going through which I had no business knowing about. As a 40 year old man, you should not be saying these kinds of things to a 17 year old girl. Not to mention, his driving terrified me. He would go 90 mph down the freeway and 60 mph on city streets, weaving through traffic the entire time. As a young girl, I was too afraid to speak up for myself and I regret that now. I am writing this in an attempt to protect future young employees of this company and warn them of the potential danger they could find themselves in.
