You can see its one of the older cafes in the small town that has…read moreprobably recently had a neat makeover to freshen it up a bit :) They had a big selection of pastries,  ice cream, hot drinks & cookies to choose from :). They had ample seating downstairs, with outdoor seating up the first set of stairs & the 2nd level of seating up the 2nd set of stairs :). So definitely more than enough seating whether it's in the colders or warmer months :)! Also the toilets were situated down a set of stairs on the cafe level :). I had a slice of princess cake which is my favorite but though it had way to much cream.. mum had a sugar cake with berries & auntie/uncle had a strawberry/cream cake :)!! All the cakes were tasty and delicous & the coffee was strong enough for Sediah standards haha. All in all was a nice cafe to Fika at and would definitely not mind going back next time i am visiting :)

This kind of cafe is what you would see in a capital city, it…read morehas fantastic seating outside & a very modern interior, with beautifully crafted wooden tables, nice comfortable seats & really cool lamps above each table :). Very big selectin of cookies, cakes & pastries, hot drinks, also a good amount of pastries that were on sale for fika at home :). Did see alot of the same cakes on offer, that i saw from the cafe i went to the day before haha.. its normal here i guess :). Ended up getting a Finish Jam donut, cinammon bun, pink iced donut & a custard pastry all were super soft and devouringly tasty :D!! The staff were super friendly & there was ample of them for the flow of customers :), it had only been open a week or 2 when i had been there and it was without a doubt the busiest place in Jakobstad lol!! Not only is it a cafe but it is also a interior shop, selling small items for around the kitchen/household & a fair few other bigger items :). The name Fika means "Coffee Break with any kind of treats" very popular all around the Nordic area :)!! I have had my whole years worth of Fika in 7 days visiting family ...!! We have a Swedisg Fika cafe in Sydney Australia close to a beach called Manly and it has been crazy busy ever since they opened :D, so I'm more than sure that having a cafe called Fika is a good investment ;)!! Definately going to try this place on my next visit.. just hope i can get a table :D!!

Looks a bit worn out and seems like they have…read morelimited services but step inside a bit more, it has a really nice restaurant with a deck on the water. The kebab and salmon pizzas are amazing combined with locally brewed beers. We stayed at their small stuga, which is barely enough for a family of 4, maybe too tight for grownups. It's decently clean and has a small fridge and a heater. Perfect for budget travelers. Bring your own sheets and towels.
